View Full Version : Alissa's Collard Rolls-YUMM!
First off let me say I hate mushrooms. Secondly-I have NEVER EVER thought of eating collards raw. But I thought I'd give those crazy collard rolls I try. They were SOOOO good. My dh loved it and 2 of the 4 dc were brave enough to try them and loved them too. I think Collard Rolls will become a weekly standard, just as angel hair zuccini and raw marinara have become.
Thanks Alissa. :D

Yes, they are super yummy!!! Try adding the Mock Salmon Pate recipe in with it for another variation. It's delicious! Alissa made this version for us during our teacher training and it was wonderful. :)

I also have recently tried collard green wraps and was totally impressed! I thought they would be like shoe leather; they were anything but! I stuffed mine with Alissa's leftover lasagna recipe along with the marinated courgettes - yum, you will see I have topped the collard with a big leaf of chard for more greens! I also loved Alissa's Almost tuna as stuffing. :p The one on the left is spread with a recipe called "Green Cheese" from a raw DVD.

I make my own collard wraps. I take anything I can find in the fridge and dice it into little tiny tiny little bits (I call it "good stuff") and add some kind of dressing, add some nut paste and wrap and eat. Yummy.
