Hi y'all!
I'm 20 and from the great state of Idaho! :) My friend introduced me to this site and I will be starting this raw food thingie w/her... like team work. Too bad we can't tag-team on this thing and add our days together to make 30.
Well, this will be interesting... doing this 30 day challenge... I love eating meat so will need a miracle to last all 30 days. But then they say it just takes 21 times or so to form a habbit. So maybe it'll be a piece of cake after that. But it will be the longest 21 days of my life! I look forward to getting to know u all.
God bless.

Welcome to the forum. It's a great place to be, and to find inspiration and information.

I wish both you and your friend well with going raw. I know it is a lot of new habits to get, but it is worth it. It's a challenge worth taking. And if you slip up, you can start again. :)

I highly recommend smoothies, salads and the date/nut torte :)

hi wpa , i see how you say your a meat eater and thusly itll be hard to go 30 days without . well i became a vegan 12 years ago and here is a list of raw things that ive found to replace it = peanuts (raw saltless in shell ) and bananas together , its my heavy breakfast fuel to give me strength for entire day . and on salads i make them half vegi so their more filling ( things like brocoli, mushroom and green peppers are my vegi ) , and i also sprinkle on 1/3 cup of sesame seeds which also make it more filling and supplies fat and protein to burn . then theres trail mix that i make with alot of almonds , peanuts ,sunseeds and walnuts ( heavy fatty protein to fill meat void ) plus raisins and dried fruit such as pineapple chunks etc . plus you can take any seed or nut , i like sesame seeds , and grind up like 1/3 of a cup in blender then add half a blender of water , a banana or 2 and or other fruit to make a rib sticking fuel . well good luck

Hey Laura, good to see you posting on the boards! :) I never thought I would see the day that you would do this 30 day challenge!
You'll do just fine and you will be surprised at what yummy meals we can come up with!
I took a good nap this afternoon after being up so late last night!!

I knew you two would reply eventually. it's just sad that it took you both so long! LOL! J/K. I'm sure this will be a month like noneother! (especially since I don't care too much for veggies). Sorry all u veggie fans... but I LOVE my fruits! I'm learning to get along with the veggies too, but fruits are my friends! ;)
God bless!
