Hi, everyone! I am now the proud owner of a blender. I have no juicer, though. I'm wondering if there is a smoothie lurking amongst the following ingredients:

bananas
oranges
raw cacao nibs
raw cashews
avocados
mangos
apples

I don't have any raw sweeteners like agave nectar or raw honey. What do you think??

Thanks!

banana/mango is a good combo....you could always try adding some cacao to that, too.

Me, personally...I'd make a smoothie out of the bananas, mango and apples (if your blender isn't a vitamix, consider peeling it first UNLESS you don't mind all the bits of apple skins that may be left in there) and a little water. The cashews could go in as well if you want a cremier smoothie that is more "shake-like" as I sometimes add cashews to mine.

You could also do a nice shake with the bananas, cashews, and cacao nibs...it would be like a banana-chocolate shake.

Some people do oranges in their smoothies but many don't like to mix citrus with sweet fruits...so that can be left up to your discretion...but it would taste good!

Wow- I knew you all would come through! When I said to my friend just now that I was going to check to see if anyone had any responses for me, she said, "yeah, right- like they're all sitting there just waiting to help you solve your smoothie problem!" Hee hee! Thank you!!

Dont forget to throw in a handful of greens if you have any with an all fruit smoothie and a bit of water!
