Hello everyone,

I've been craving chocolate fudge lately, anyone has a good raw recipe, simple and easy to make? I'd appreciate it!!

Thanks
Michelle :p

the easiest way is nut butter or ground up nuts, combined with honey or dates, and raw carob.

Or, try this recipe (which can easily be made raw):

Somebody brought it to a potluck last week, and it was sooooooooo good!

While looking at the pictures on that site, I was thinking, "that looks too good to be good for you." Then I scrolled down, and read "Tastes too good to be so good for you!" :D

I made raw fudge today,

I used soaked dates, almond butter and carob powder. (from Alissa's book)
It's a very dense and heavy mixture, my magimix was actually slowed down by it! So it cut it in half and mixed it that way, I actually made half with carob and half without.
I wanted to make little balls out of them, but the mixture is SOOOO sticky, I had to put coconut oil on my hands first!!
I decided to just make some kind of loaf out of them, then rolled it in coconut powder (like shredded very fine) and then put them in clingwrap (sp?) and put them in the freezer for a while.

It took the fudge to a raw potluck this evening, and wasn't sure if everybody would like it, but when I put it on the table (made slices which was easy because the fudge was colder and a bit harder due to freezing) it was gone in notime! Honestly, they all loved it!! My personal favorite was the one without the carob powder, but the others were thrilled with the dessert, I was so happy!! :D

You have GOT to try Alissa's fudge balls, couldn't agree more than Jay and others, I have been raw for 30 days now! and they were a lifesaver. I put them in my purse, in my truck, on the plane, but yes it did clog up the food processor, so I too cut my recipe in half. Enjoy!

I'm glad you guys brought this up- I have been wanting to make these and I just keep sticking those Medjools in mouth... but today, I am really craving chocolate, and I'm to the point that I have been eating all day to curve the craving- I had a banana w/ almond butter and raw honey which is my favorite, and it still didn't help. I hoping I have everything here to make these...thanks. I will report back with the results.
