Hello everyone,

Well, it's 4 weeks today that I started my 100% raw lifestyle and this morning I found that I've lost 13 lbs in that time. No hassle and no hunger - I'm thrilled.

How is everyone else doing? I know there were a few of us who started this on 1st January - both for weight loss, health and moral reasons.

1st Jan 06 202 lbs

29th Jan 06 189 lbs

Best wishes,

Tracy

This fall I was 256 #. As of Jan. 29, I am 231 #.

Being 100% raw, and not 80% raw, makes such a big difference! I feel better and I think my hair is starting to grow back!!

Great for you, Tracy!

I started on the 27th of December at 180 lbs and am at 170. I hope it keeps going like this. I've cut out nuts and minimized dried fruit so fingers crossed.

Good luck everyone!

i started jan. 1st also. As of today, the 29th, i've only lost 4.5 pounds. I'm not doing this for weight loss, though it's nice, so i'm okay with not losing a whole bunch. i only have 9 or 10 lbs to bring me to my goal of 100lbs.

youre doing great and getting awesome results, keep up the good work!!!!

Jan 1st: 281
Jan 29th: 259

Lost 7 more pounds this week probably because I really didn't feel like eating some days. One day I had to force myself to eat a salad because all day I just ate a couple pieces of fruit.

First, I want to say Congratulations to all who have lost weight. When you want to loose weight, it does mean a lot to see changes. It sure does to me. I feel like I'm trying to find the real me. lol. :)

January 2nd = 169.4 lbs
January 30 = 160.3 lbs

I have been stuck for a while, but started reading Alissa's book from the beginning, and that made me make changes. The acid/alkaline and the enzyme thing changed my perception and opened my eyes. I hope weightloss will be easier now, that I'm eating all raw.

Yahooooooooooooo to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!
Jan 1st=183 lbs
Jan. 29=173 lbs
But better than the weight loss is how great I feel, my arthritis pain is gone, my back pain is gone, my gray hair has darken and gotten thicker. I have not had any acid reflux in 2 weeks. I am off all my medications for arthritis and acid reflux.

I haven't been 100% for the last week. Daqrned vacation. But I did manage 75% even while eating in resturants. Yeah me!

Jan 1 155
Jan 30 144

not bad considering my thyroid problem. Also I've been having some severe tooth ache pain, infection & swelling for the last week. At this point I'm eating nothing but juice (raw) & hot soup. I tried doing raw soup but the heat really helps the pain & swelling.

I hope to get back to 100% raw once I can chew again.

Congrats to everyone who's been at this since Jan1. Here's to Feb!

I began my raw food journey on Jan. 4, and I lost 12 lbs in the first two weeks. I was a size 8 at the time. Since then I've moved, so I don't have a scale anymore (probably a good thing), but today I thought I was kidding myself to try my size 4's (as the 8's were way to baggy, and I didn't have any 6's) AND THEY FIT! Like really fit! I'm so freaking thrilled!!!!!! So, I have no idea how much weight I've lost. Jan. 4th I was 146, then I was down to 138, and then down to 134. So who knows now what I weigh. But I feel GREAT!

That's fantastic Mary Poppins. Congrats! :) That sounds like the dream of a weight loss. Something a lot of people would like to experience.

Chole, the tooth ache sounds awful, and I hope things will be okay soon. I think 100 percent raw and maybe 100 percent alkaline for a while, will help you work on the toxins and get them out. Hot tea should be allright. I doubt that this turns to acid in the digestive system. It doesn't feel like it to me. The very best of luck to you. And congrats on your weightloss too. :)
