A RAW "High" ???

OK- so I am new to Raw- although I tried Raw last Spring-(great results, but I stopped....things happened ....but now I'm back).

My question, I have been Raw for about 3 weeks and I am really feeling a difference in my moods-almost like a "euphoric high." Does anyone else feel this way?

I remember reading how depression lifts-(which I had)-but I really am starting to see/percieve things differently. I take pleasure in things I used to complain about. Example- winter-before...complained about snow...-now-enjoying the beauty of the snow.

Is it that my brain/body is recieving so much better nutrition? Is it my attitude from all the new books/learning? I would love some input from others.

I also cannot believe the energy/creativity surge. I am really enjoying this new-found lifestyle. :cool: :p

Hi Lanasq,

I can totally relate with you. My personal opinion is that when one is eating raw, especially the least dense ones, one will be left feeling light and the high-ness comes about. Its the light easy to digest foods which take a whole load of burden off your body from overtaxing it.

It does feel euphoric and very much elated!! Its highly ecstatic!! You smile easily, for no reason, at no reason. You are happy. You are light. You feel very connected with the nature, the universe. The breath you took brings a whole new life into you. You feel least bothered, you glide through life. You take life light yet with full gratitude and appreciation. You become as light as a feather, floating, feeling high.... it is a good high. Little things don't bother you but little things convey a whole new spectrum to you.... you look at life from all sides now, observing, participating with lightness yet undisturbed.... feeling high!!

That is what I meant by with my signature (see below)....

ps : or could it be those hemp/poppy seeds...??? :p

What you said is so true. Things that used to get to me-just don't matter. Things I took for granted, I now appreciate. I really enjoyed your entire message. Thanks for replying....

oh be warned!! I think there should be a warning sign to those thinking to jump onto the raw-wagon.... WARNING : WILL LEAVE ONE FEELING LIGHT IN EVERY SENSE!! :D

when you proceed to the hemps/poppies, you might just go straight to a tree and give it a big hug... you will look up at the sky and smile for no reason! even the leaves took on a vibrant beautiful different shade of green.... never mind if others think you crazy, if this is craziness I want in.... totally!! :D

You have only yourself to thank Lana. Seek and you shall find. You started this thread, in your sub-conscious level you desire to hear and get inspired.... so it comes in 'my form', through my words... so you can yet have another day feeling highly exuberant!!

to be grateful is to be aware.... to be aware is to be conscious, to know, to learn or un-learn, to share, care, love and appreciate... life goes on in cycles.... for now just be in the high!!
