Ok I made them exactly as the book instructed and they came out great except that they taste sour and I am afraid to eat them. What in the world went wrong. I used fresh corn and everything. Help !!

I think it was suppose to have been frozen corn, there is another post on it here somewhere
Lisa,
I found the thread, so you don't need to look for it anymore :)

I've made the corn chips before and they've turned out like corn jerky! Stuck to my teeth a lot and generally not pleasant to eat. Are they supposed to be crispy? Do you blend until totally smooth? Spread really thin or not?
Thanks for any insight!

I have made the corn chips using frozen corn, they didn't turn out at all, it all separated in the dehydrator, but the fresh came out fine, but did taste alittle funny, it wasn't you believe me. I actually thought i did something to them.
I made only one sheet and i ate most of it with some quac., but I didn't like it near as much as the flax seed chips.

I'm new here, so please bear with me. Is frozen corn from the grocery store uncooked? I always thought is might be cooked for a couple of minutes before being frozen. Thanks, Tracy
