Does anyone use one of these? I think it would be great, if it works. The catalog shows it with fresh herbs.

Which particular herb mill are you typing about? Can you show us a picture or a link?

Well, it looks like a nice herb mill. However, I think it would do best on grinding herbs that you dried in your dehydrator to go in your own spice jars. It would be good if you could buy the product and test it out first. I would see if they will let you return it if you are not happy with it. There are so many devices out there that just don't do that great of a job. I find that when it comes to fresh herbs, nothing works better than a food chopper or a just using a knife on a cuttting board.

I have one and it's an absolutely useless piece of crap. It doesn't cut herbs well at all, it just jams up, I haven't touched it in a couple years - a TOTAL waste of money IMO. Ugh!

exurb, that is exactly what I thought. I thought a picture might bring back some memories.
I am having a hard time accepting it, but it looks like the kitchen knife on a cutting board is about your best bet for many raw food preperation chores.
Well, that settles that! I won't be buying one of these.
Thanks for the input.
