Hi there everyone!

I'm a mum of 3 from BC, Canada. I've been high raw since November of last year. It's been a fun and interesting journey so far. My kids and hubby are eating mostly vegetarian, with chicken or fish probably only once a month, and a LOT of fresh fruits and veg, lol. I'm still nursing my littlest one, he's almost 1 year old. I've been skimming around this forum for a little while, and it seems there are some wonderful supportive people here, with great tips for day-to-day life, so I thought I should join and become a part of this community.

Nice to meet you all!

Welcome Sabina~

I am also new. I am so excited about becoming healthy. The though just exhilarates me. Not only for the losing weight but for the general lethargy I feel on a day to day basis.

On another note...
My boyfriend and I were thinking of moving out to the west coast - Portland, OR; Seattle, WA or Vancouver, BC. I've heard it's absolutely beautiful out there! So far I've only made it to Oregon and we loved the pacific coastline. My concern is really about the earthquakes and volcanos you all have out there. Are they any threat? Should I be worrying about them?

Thanks and welcome.
Good luck on your journey.

Hi there Mama Frog and welcome. I'm in SouthCentral BC, where are you?

I would love to eventually have raw-food potlucks if I can find enough interested. I'm sure they're out there, we just have to find each other!

Hi again!

Walkin'on Water, I'm near Vancouver. We travel through your area frequently in the summer, though. Mmmm, fruit stands.

Dancer, most of the earthquake activity (and the volcano, too) is south of where I live. We are forecasted for a big earthquake at some point, but that's only a prediction, nobody knows when it will happen. I can only remember maybe 3 earthquakes in my life, and they were all just the sort that feel as though a big truck just drove by, so nothing major.
