Hi everyone,
My name is Heather. My fiance and I are very interested in the raw foods diet.
We know a lot about it, and know people who eat only raw. We have been transitioning to it for a while now, eating more raw and less cooked.
For me at least, there is no way to deny it -- I absolutely 100% feel better when I eat live, raw food. After going days with eating mainly raw and then eating more cooked food, I feel bad and lethargic.
We are already vegans, and I was raised vegetarian. The raw food diet, for us, is just the next step for great health.
Our main problem is knowing what to make. We have some raw food cook books already that we just need to dive into.
Our main goal is just to become healthier. We are already at our proper body weight. We both want to have a child in the next few years, and I feel that a raw foods diet would be both beneficial to myself as well as the baby. I want to build my body up on a raw foods diet, and then continue through pregnancy and on!
