I've heard that combining fats with sugars (for example, nuts and raisins) can cause blood sugar problems. Why is this? What happens to the blood sugar when fats and sugars are combined?

hmm..I've never heard this, I had always thought that when you eat a fatty food with something like sugar that would normally upset the blood sugar, that the fatty food would blunt the spike...I'll be interested to see what others respond.
