i find fasting helps with time management. It is difficult to begin a fast. all food is a trigger to eat more, even water can trigger cravings. Having fasted many times for one to nine days, i know too well how it has changed my perspective and given me a new lease on life, as it where... has opened my eyes to who I am (period) outside of who i've been for others, for survival.
it is an ultimate physical beingness and yet, it is by far the hardest thing i have ever done. i keep trying today to do it again, to get back the magic...
well,
to fail is
to have tried.
no great success comes without a series of failures.
may you and i be happy, really deeply content,
Molly

Hi Molly...I am going to start a fast on Monday, the 30th..and would love company... :-) It is so true..fasting..even eating simply..frees up so much time and energy for other things. I find that I become even more aware of the central place food and my anesthetizing myself with it, has played in my life..and I do not want to go back to that. So..i am moving forward..and doing the fast.I want to go deeper into this peace and centeredness that I am discovering....

Blessings...
Elizabeth
