Hi everyone, i haven't been here for a few days because I have been so ill. I don't know if I am having a major healing crisis or if something else is going on. I have not been able to eat for about 4 days. It started with cramps and pain on my left side going to my back. Then I got nauceous. I was with the pain and the naucea for about two days. Now I am just nauceous. I can't eat anything but a little juice and I tried superfood in it but that made it worse. Last night I had a little juice and a small piece of banana ok. But today even water makes me feel ill. So I am in a forced fast. This is probably the weirdest thing I have ever been through. Usually if I have this kind of problem there are other symtoms involved but not this time which makes me think it is a detox of sorts. Anyone else been through something like this? I am raw 4 months yesterday. Well have a great day everyone.

Hey you,
Can I ask you-- Does the pain on the left start below the ribs that shoots the pain up to the back (shoulder blad area)? What was your eating habit like before these symptoms? How is your BM? Drinking enought water?
hmmmm,

Well the pain is gone like I said. It was in my lower abdomen and around the back side. My bm's have slowed down but that is typical as I have been constipated IBS for 14 years. So my body is doing alot better in this area but it isn't perfect yet. Also I eat orange juice and super food for breakfast, mid morning snack is typically fruit, apples, persimmons, mango etc. lunch is almost always a big salad with lots of different ingredients or juice lettuce with tomatoes, avocado, red onion, red cabbage, spinach etc. usually I make an olive oil based dressing but not always. Then mid afternoon snack lately has been persimmons, or a small handful of almonds. or I have been making tacos with lettuce leaves with pauls pate from the book. I top with salsa, avocado, pumpkin seeds. For dinner if I am hungry I have another salad, nori rolls or tacos again. I have made the fettuccini alfredo, spagetti, or spinach quiche. Usually I am not too hungry at dinner and have a smaller type of meal, cucumbers, juice etc. I don't think this is dietary related at all. Any way I am drinking some juice now. I am planning a colon cleanse perhaps earlier than I wanted maybe that will help.
Hey,
I'm sorry you've had such a terrible experience, I'm glad you are at least feeling a little better.
I'm not experienced enough in this area, so I don't know if it's detox, or if maybe there's more to it... its okay though to not eat I think, and IF you eat, that it'd be only fruits, because they pass quicker through your system. I think if you would eat a lot, you might even extend the detox-period, but again, might be wrong here...
by not eating, your body can use all it's energy to control the rest and make stuff better (before making it worse by detoxing...)
Keep us posted!

wow! Obviously your eating healthy no question on that matter. have you tried doind juicing particularly greens? The greens are known to reviatilize the organs---like the rest would say "Sounds like your body is Detoxifying"
glad you're feeling better!
luv,
linda :p

Thanks for your help. I think that it is detox also. I am just going to go with the flow and wait this one out. I ate 1/3 of a banana and it went ok so I just will go really slow with the food. Maybe just have juices for now. Yes I also juice greens and all kinds of veggies and fruits. I know I have a long way to go with detox because of the seriousness of the diseases I am challenged with. I am expecting some hard times ahead even after 4 months. I expect a year of this kind of weirdness. I just didn't have any symtoms quite like this before so. Oh well we are supposed to rejoice with the detox and that is what I am trying to do. :)

Thank you. My name is Lisa. Its been about 5 days now and I am starting to feel better. I have eaten a few pieces of fruit today and some juice with no problem so I will keep taking it slow and I should be ok. I started a colon cleanse today as well to get things cleaned out. i think that will really help not only now but in the future detoxes to get the poison out quicker. Well I am going to read more posts now and learn something else.

Don't worry you will get as far as me and further just keep up the good work. I have fasted 4 times now. I find it easier and easier each time. This last one of course was forced on me but I am grateful to my body for telling me what it needs so clearly. It seems to get easier and easier to read the signals too as time goes on with this way of eating. Take care.
