Out of the mouths of babes

Last night's dinner was a flop. The dc were NOT impressed and 1 even refused to eat at all. I didn't blame him... :(

Anyway-it was all we had so we managed to suffer thru and eat some of it. The dc will instructed to inform me if they don't like a meal, but not complain. After a few bites my sweet 8 yo ds tried to manage a weak smile and said politely "Mom, I sure hope there aren't any leftovers."

BWAHAHAHAHA! I was laughing so hard I almost fell off my chair!!!!!

I told him not to worry, that I would compost it-since it already resmebled compost in taste, texture, and stench!

It was called "Orange U Glad it's Salad" from Warming up to Living Foods.....and uh, no-we weren't! :p
