Breaking Cell Walls...

Do most blenders break the cell wall of greens or is that something only the vita mix has conquered. I thought I was doing well with my blender, pretty smooth smoothies, but I am wondering if it can be alot better. I can't remember what bracd my blender is, but it's red with a glass pitcher and cost about 50 dollars. What do you think?

Well, a Vita-Mix is in a class of its own. I personally would just use what you have until you decide to buy a Vita-Mix. There is not a lot of in between really. Standard department store blenders are great for starting out, but when you want more, it is best to go for Vita-Mix. The Vita-Mix household blenders have been virtually the same model since 1993.
