I would like to start using Dandelion Tea or Greens to help the detox process.

I was getting dandelion greens when available and juicing them. Yes, you really have to cut that with some apple!! However, as I can't seem to find any fresh greens I was wondering if anyone has input concerning a D. Tea to help the process of detoxing.

I would be glad to have input/articles/sites if you have them.

I believe dandelions would still be significantly diuretic in effect, even in tea form. The mineral content should still be there, too. Both of these would be beneficial to some degree in a detoxing program, but I'd suggest you don't go too crazy on the diuretic substances because you may flush more nutrients from your body than you bargained for (don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of dandelions myself).

I use Yogi tea for Detox & one for Fasting. Not at the same time of coarse.

They have 21 herbs (including dandelion root)

You should try that sometime.

I had never thought about the aspect of loosing more nutrients with a diuretic. That makes sense.

My Natural Foods store does have Yogi tea I believe...perhaps I will try that instead of a Dandelion....thanks for the advice!
