Is having the green smoothie better than juicing about 32oz of greens, and other veggies then drinking that? I don't like smoothies but wants to incorporate more raw food into my meal plan.

Also, I'm a Type II diabetic any advice for a raw food beginner. I've noticed since I been eating raw food for the last 10 days I've been really hungry and as a diabetic I can't allow my body to go into a hungry state. With my previous eating habits I could eat a meal that would carry me without hunger to the next meal. What can I do?

Free, I just replied to your other post in the juicing section. You did answer my question with this post whether you were speaking about juices or smoothies. Green smoothies are definitely better in this regard because the fiber is still intact which will regulate blood sugar issues. Have you tried smoothies?? I think most find that smoothies are so much more palatable then juices....when mixed with fruits, the green is barely recognizeable. I wouldn't completely disregard juices though, because they are very cleansing. Smoothies will definitely keep you fuller longer. What else are you eating?? Lots of fruits, salads, some nuts and seeds, avocados should fill you up, if you haven't added them to your diet you really should. I think if you posted your menu it could help us give better advice.
