Hi all,
I'm a grandmother, 61 years of age. I had been eating raw for 4 years starting in 1999 and continued for 4 years. I then fell off and have just this past week started up again. It must have been the right time for me as it has been relatively easy to do. Surprising how much easier it is each time we try to do something if we haven't done it in a while. I have so many recipes in my head already and my body still remembers how to get along with raw foods, just so long as I don't try to eat cabbage or raw carrots. I was a little afraid I might not be able to handle all the raw fiber but I'm doing fine.
I first heard of raw in 1970 and tried then plus a couple of other times over those years. I just didn't have the money or a good place to buy enough raw as I canned and froze most of our food in the summer. I have a much better place to get fairly good produce now. That helps a lot.
