RawMagnolia

Hello... I'm new. I tried about a year ago to go raw... but I found it quite a challenge. I did learn a lot thru my 3 month voyage of raw-ism.
I know that when you go raw you can and will experience detox, and possibly other changes as well.
I am wondering... I am by no means raw... but I have been steadily increasing the amount of raw foods that I eat daily. I'm probably somewhere around 50% on average or just a bit better. This has been for a few weeks. I have noticed that my nails are getting smoother and shinier.
But today I'm experiencing an on and off ear ache. I used to suffer a lot from ear aches as a child... even had to have several operations on my ears to help drain the fluid buildup behind the drums.
I am wondering if it is possible that todays ear ache could be attributed to my eating more raw foods? Kind of like a detox... like my body is healing itself from pain long ago?? Does any of this make sence, or should I perhaps have it checked out by a doctor? I hate to go if it's just my body repairing old damage... b/c the doctor will likely just prescribe antibiotics, if she notices anything. Which would only be bad for my body.
Thanks for any and all input!
Sandra
