:p
I woke up this morning craving sweet bread with raisins, do any of you have a recipe for sweet bread? I use to have this for breakfast before going raw.
Thank you all.

I had sweet challah bread when I was at Tree of Life. Here is a link to the recipe: http://www.lesliegoldman.com/Essene_School_of_Thought/id40.htm

Adding raisins to the batter before dehydrating will make it sweeter. Enjoy!

Raisins can be considered raw, right? Are there certain brands to look for?

i called the sun maid company

they make the generic brnds in the stoes, also.

they told me raisins are partially sun dried

then go into a huge oven way above 140

to complete the dryingprocess.

sorry, i know that one didnt sound good

i like raisons, too

maybe someone else has a link to a site

who sells raw raisons?

take care :)

hi china doll :)

through my searches for raw dates

most all dates have been steamed/heated and or frozen

even the ones from health food stores

are m ost likely not raw

to ensure excellent customer service

and really raw organic dates

call THE DATE PEOPLE.

they have a web site of that name i believe.

take care,

If you have a Whole Foods by you, check out their brand of boxed raisins, I believe its called Whole Kids, it does specify "sun dried" not heat dried. Of course they aren't the big plumpy kind but hey, its not heated!!
