Yaaay ... I finally got hold of some raw carob, and jsut in time too, because I have a potluck at school on Friday. I was going to make fudge from the greent website that someone mentioned earlier (I've forgotten the website address and can't seen to find it now - I wrote the recipe down by hand) but wanted to do a test run this weekend on dh. Unfortunately, he really, really, really doesn't like walnuts. What would be some other good options to sustitute? Pecans? Almonds?
Thanks! :)

Pecans would be scrumptious! The light carob flavor and pecans or macadamias and coconut or pecans and coconut or just coconut - mmmm - think I'm gonna make some too :p

I would go with pecans. That's what i've always used in SAD fudge :)
