View Full Version : what are your dc's favorites?
I thought we might trade raw "favorites" for some new ideas-
My dc love
banana smoothie (bananas, almond milk, vanilla, cinnamon, maple syrup)
angel hair zuccinni and marinara
spinach salad with flax meal and dressing
apple pie (I serve it for supper LOL!)
Lara bars ($$$ )
cashew butter, honey, coconut oil, cinnamon-we usu use it as dip for apples
Carob Ice "Cream"-frozen bananas, carob powder, maple syrup
that's all I can think of for now-but my list will grow as soon as I order a dehydrator!

My dc love carrot soup, kale salad (all but one), all the raw desserts and almond/pumpkin seed/sunflower seed milk.

My children love smoothies, dates with almond butter, vegetable sticks with a dip, citrus juice and raw ice cream the best.

My daughter likes artichokes, bananas, raisins, dates, coconuts, seaweed and almond butter. She will eat the almond butter straight.
Not necessarily in that order of likes the most to the least. Greens and vegetables are still a push to get her to eat them.

My 4 year old boy loves eating mono/simply like apples, strawberries, carrots, spinach leaves and lettuce, raisins, but with recipes he loves ice cream (especially from the Vice Cream book), green smoothie fruit rollups, vanilla brazil nutmilk, cracker recipes...

I have 4 children and each of them like different things...so this is a collective list of raw foods they like/love:
Smoothies (even the green ones)
spinach with dressing
my younger daughter loves onions in her salad
banana ice cream
Alissa's Strawberry Crepes
what I call "fruit cereal" in almond butter milk which is basically chopped apples and bananas with a little bit of oats (not much), some almond butter, agave, dash or two of sea salt and cinnamon and water all mixed up
Stir Dry (marinated stir-fry type veggies that have been warmed in the dehydrator)
"pasta" and sauce
