Does anyone do anything at the end of the day to reward themselves for eating raw? I am having a hard time and didnt know if this was a good idea.
I like massages but that would be expensive lol
thanks

For me, eating raw is its own reward.

Pril I am glad you think that way...too often we don't love ourselves or treat ourselves to pleasure...we wait and wait until we think we have really earned it...massage is beneficial and vital to the human body....that's a good idea...if you live in an area that has massage schools, then you can get a great massage at half the price (most of the schools provide these type of services). At the university I attended, the students who were training provided the standard swedish massage for $20 for a half hour session. That is pretty darn cheap. I don't know about you, but I used to use food to celebrate and as a tool of love, but know I love myself differently....there are so many different ways to reward ourselves
1. buy a book
2. favorite health/exercise magazine
3. learn something new (like knitting for example)
4. soothing foot soak at the end of the day (with fav. essential oil)
5. write in a journal about personal growth
6. buy candles
Those are just a few of my fav. things to do to reward myself for choosing to eat to live rather than live to eat like I used to. Sometimes, I think, that magazine cost $5.00 but then I think, I remember when I used to roll through the fast food places and spend $8.00 like it was nothing so why not buy something that will educate and inspire me. I finally value me and so I strive to nurture myself as much as possible in a healthy and productive way.

Is there any raw treat that you like but consider too expensive. You could allow yourself to have some only on the day that you have achieved your goal.
