They put an Aldi grocery store in the town next to me. Years ago i would shop at Aldi's but moving away, then back, i got away from going there. Anyway...
Mangos --59 cents
2 lbs bananas -- 40 cents
GREEN avocados -- 59 cents
They had celery for super cheap along with lettuce, oranges, etc. Not a ton of choice but what they had was very inexpensive!
Hope this helps all you out there that are feeding kids and all --- maybe get the least pesticide laden foods here and organic for the others...
