Hi!

Went to the doc today. My upper (right) arm has been killing me for the past month. Turns out I have a swollen rotator cuff.

I don't think it's going to get better anytime soon because hubby is gone now for 2 more weeks and my daughter (9 months) likes to be held constantly...

Just thought I would whine to you all...it hurts...I can't even shampoo my hair without pain... :(

But life in the raw is going GREAT!! :D

I am not sure if this is the same problem as yours but I will tell you how I solved my rotator cuff problem

A few years ago, I had what I thought was a painful rotaor cuff. I don't know how else to describe it except that I had a pain coming from it.

I went by chance to get a massage, (not for the rotator cuff, just for a massage), and the masseuse asked if I had any particular pains or aches and I told him about the rotator cuff pain and he said, I can fix that! And he bent down by my armpit and put both thumbs really deep into my armpit and pressed really hard for a looong time. He said I had a knot in there. And presto!! The pain disappeared forever.

Hope this helps you.

I believe he was working on your subscapularis. It is the muscle behind the Scapula (chicken wing). Good for frozen shoulder and such.
