Hi Everyone,

Today is my first day. So I am still learning the process. Can you ever eat too much fruit and nuts. Below is my menu for today.

Breakfast- Fruit Smoothie made with Raspberries, Strawberries and a banana.

Morning Snack- Banana, raw nuts and raisins ( I was really starved at this point)

Lunch Salad

Afternoon Snack- Apple

Dinner Salad

Desert- Smoothie or Fruit.

Please advise of any other suggestions....I don't want to over due it....

your day looks a lot like mine! i eat tons of fruit and am doing really well. i usually have nuts only once a day, in my salads. sometimes if i am in a hurry and hungry i will get a handful of nuts but not often. i do use nutmilk in my smoothies, usually for breakfast and dinner, as that makes the BEST smoothies EVER.

Welcome Nanci!

In the beginning I wouldn't worry about too much nuts or anything like that. What's important is that you use whatever raw foods you need to, to help you stay raw.

Fats like nuts, avocados and raw oils (like hemp, coconut and some olive) will help satiate you so that you will crave less SAD foods. If you have weight issues, in the beginning your weight should drop regardless of what you're eating, as long as it's raw. After you've got a handle on things (probably like 90 days raw or more), if your weight loss slows down and you'd like to tweak things, then go ahead. But in the beginning, I've found the most important thing is to eat whatever you want to, as long as it's raw :)

WELCOME....

I would advise you to journal not only what you eat...but how it reacts and digests with your body. For example...what combos bloat you or ones you get hungry from quickly.

Seems like you are off to a ripe and raw start. Take the next few weeks to jot down your intake and see if that helps you out.

For me I eat tons of fruit in the AM and veggies in the PM. For my optimum digestion, I food combine, but that is just for me.

Keep us all posted on your progress!

Best,
JMD

Thank you so much you all have been helpful. I have one more question...I was just reading a post about water....does it make a difference when and how often you get water. :)
