HI ALL,

My sweetheart and I are going to Vegas for a few days in February. I was wondering if anyone knew if there is a vegan or raw restaurant out there?? or at the very least a juice bar. We will be on the strip without a car. I KNOw there are buffets thee but not sure how the veggies and fruit will be.....

I know of at least one raw restaurant; the Go Raw Cafe--apparently with two locations. Unfortunately I haven't the slightest idea what the layout of the city is, but maybe you can take a taxi for a special meal . . .

I live in Las Vegas but I'm new to Raw and to Vegas so I have not checked out this restaurant:

but I've read reviews that it is good. Please post your raw restaurant experiences for us! And have fun in Vegas.

Thanks Everyone,

I Called The Restaurants And Figured Out It Would Be A 20 Cab Ride. It Is Worth It For The Juice Bar For Me..but We Will See Since The Other People Are Total Meat Eaters. I Tend To Do Better Eating Light Fruits And Veggies But Maybe I Will Try It.

Looks like I'll be in Las Vegas the first week of April so this thread is very helpful! I'll check out the locations of the raw restaurants and see if I can get to them. We will be most likely staying at the Luxor and I won't have a car so I hope there is something close enough for walking!

Not if you're looking for a raw food restaurant. Might check the bus lines.

I just came back from Sin City but never made it to a raw restaurant..too far away and we did not have a car. However, as long as you tell a place what you need, you will be fine. I even got a carrot giner and apple juice at the airport--fresh from the juicer!!!

The Raw Truth is no more. They were bought out by Go Raw Cafe. The location on the lakes is my fav! The other location has some lightly cooked foods on the salad bar. PM me & i'll give you my phone number if you wanna call when you get in & I can give you directions.

Just got home from Las Vegas on Saturday, we had a fabulous week! Didn't make it to the Go Raw Cafe but did find a number of places to get smoothies and juices. People were very kind to adjust the menu items to my requirements and I found okay salads at most of the restaurants and of course the buffets. Thanks for the help everyone and I can't wait to go back! More shows I wanted to see and we just couldn't fit in anything more on this trip, darn it... we will just have to go back!
