2005 is on its way........so what is your New Years Resolution?
Misslinda- my new years resolution is to become purely raw/vegan by 2005. Starting now, juice and be raw as much as possible to be 100% by Jan 1st. Lose weight and buy a new wordrobe. Is this asking alot??????
What about everyone else?
luv,
Linda
Linda, great topic!!
mine are: making 2005 one of my best years yet! I'm going to Australia for one year, and although it's a bit scary to do this on my own, I hope I can grow as a person, make lots of new friends, find some great hobbies (like surfing dude!), take advantage of some opportunities, enjoy life more, carpe diem!! :)
I also hope I can continue this raw path, I'll try my best, but won't be too upset when I can't always get raw produce to eat, lose more weight, get greater looking skin, shiny hair, positive outlook on life, basically just live and love! Oh yeah, and also try to find me a hunky Aussi guy, lol!!

Linda
Linda, you're the best! Muah!
It would be nice to get all the things of my list, but if I only get one, I'd be so happy!
Basically 2005 is what you make of it, right? True, you can experience some setback that you can't control, but basically we can make our own happiness, and I know you will get there too, we all can, we all will, we all deserve it, yeah! :D
Hugs!

My first 2005 goal is to start the 30 challenge in January. I will be getting a new pic of myself taken this week so I can do this. I have been about 90% raw for over 2 months and this will make 2005 start off right! :)
Alright Curtis!
Good for you!

I don't normally make New Year's Resolutions, and these aren't really those, as such, but they're goals for the coming year.
- 100% raw for January and hopefully beyond. (Haha, that can be my slogan - Raw in January...and BEYOND!! )
- To be more positive in general.
- To be *much* kinder to myself...heck, I don't deserve the way i treat myself, and I sure wouldn't be that mean to another person, so why me?
- To incorporate regular yoga practise into my life.
There, that'll do. And just in time too!

Mine are to focus on the raw lifestyle and incorporating it daily. That might not be 100% but most of my food for the day.
But most important, I want to enjoy life and not think about food all the time. I want to relax and focus on what is really important...friends, family, and helping others.
Also, I want to add a daily meditation to my routine. Om.
Namaste,
Debbie

For those of you that don't know, Alissa started a thread under "Forum and Annoucements" she's accepting photos of before and after to possibly be in her next book--anyway rather than me try and intepret her words, take a visit (!!!!). Once in a lifetime opportunity.

Happy New Year everybody.
My New Year Resolution is to take the 30 day challenge. See my post in that forum.
I am going 100% raw and seeking to gain my health back. I need all the support that I can get. I have 180 pounds to loose and it is not going to be an easy task.
2005 is going to be my year :D

RawGranny, you are going to do great! That is what my husband and I are saying too, 2005 is our year. We have 200+ lbs to lose between the two of us so we'll all have to stick together.
I wish you the best!

Hi all :)
My New Year's Resolution: To follow through on everything I have been convicted of!!! One of them being to keep my body pure to the best of my ability: RAW FOOD 100%. I think alot of my other personal goals will all be met just by achieving this one. Have you noticed when your not obsessing over food, being sick, being grumpy....there is so much TIME and ENERGY to do all the positive things we'd like to do,but were put off by those other - things. (How's that for a run on sentence?lol) I hope we all gain new and improved lives for our desire to do what is best!!!
HAPPY 2005!!!
Michelle
