Hello,
I am trying to post photos so I can start journaling, but when I try to submit a photo I get a message saying photo was not in an acceptable format. I am using pictures off the internet because I am not ready to put up a picture of me yet and I have downloaded these pics to my documents and to a disk. I have tried to post them by getting them from my disk and by getting them from my documents and neither way works. Does anyone know what I could be doing wrong?

Hi Sheila,
What is the extension on the end of the image? Does it have .jpg, .gif, or what? That's usually what it's referring to when it says the format is incorrect...it may not be one of the acceptable formats such as JPG or GIF, etc.

Hi,
Thanks for responding so quickly. The extension on one is bmp and the other looks like htm.

Sheila,
The .htm format is definitely not going to work...but .bmp should work, but in any event, you can email the pictures to me at cmkree@yahoo.com and I can convert them to .jpg for easier uploading. I will then email them back to you and you can save to your computer and then upload to your journal area.

Hi, I tried to post photos, it didn`t work.
If I clicked upload there came a short text very fast, and after that there was no photo.

Sounds like your photo may be too small. It should be fairly large in size...don't know why that is, but I've had times when I've tried to upload a photo that was on the smaller size and it did the same thing you described. So, I began uploading larger images (large as in 900 pixels or more) to my journal area and those worked out better for some reason.

Thank you, I got it. It was not a jpeg format and I think it was too big too.
Now I have it on 1400 pix that works good.
Thank you!
