View Full Version : Vitamins/Supplements and exercise while water fasting?

Hi all! I don't take vitamins/supplements regularly. Sometimes a b12, calcium or flax oil if I think I need it. While on a water fast- is it either beneficial or hurtful to take vitamins? I am about to try a 10 days fast. I'm nervous- any tips? I exercise vigorously usually, should I continue with some light walking, or nothing at all to preserve energy? :rolleyes:

You should determine the intensity of your exercise based on how you feel during your fast. Remember, you need to conserve your energy for this process...don't deplete yourself too quickly. Best of luck!
