New to this site in NH. I've been eating 75% raw since last May and really went off the deep end during the holidays. I started 100% raw on Jan 2nd and just started the 37 day "flash" diet which includes juicing/raw/fasting over a period of 37 days. I have been reading the posts on this site and am very glad to have found it. I've been searching for something like this for a while and always seemed to find the sites that have not been updated for months. This site has been a very important of my new lifestyle (refuse to call it "diet").

:) Congrats and welcome, MangoMommy!

I agree on calling raw a "lifestyle" than a "diet". Good Luck to you on this great RAW adventure!

Warmly,

Pansy :)

You might want to try the fasting site and then click on the 21 day fast. Lots of encouragement and great info there.

Greetings to you! I live in the lakes region of Nh.
I'm new to raw foods lifestyle but have been pulled this way for a while and I'm glad to be here. Been slowly working these healthier habits and my body now craves it. The more I do the more it wants more.
Where I live are not many resources for fresh organic fruits and vegies so lately I eat a lot of the same things. When I do travel south I try to find the whole foods mkts in Nashua or Manchester. My local stores barely have the basics.

I have been reading this site for a while and am thrilled with the generous information found here.
Best wishes for your journey!

Congratulations on your new journey!
Check out the websites www.rawnewenglandcommunity.com and www.livingnutrition.com for potlucks in your area and other great info.
I'm in Boston and just began my raw journey on the 1st. It's been great and this seems like such a good place for support and info. Best of luck and keep us posted!

Hi Mango Mommy -

I lived in NH (Hudson) most of my life, moved to the White Mountains in 2003 and just recently moved to Mid-Coast Maine.

I'm just starting out and am so happy that there is a place for such great support and commaraderie.

Good Luck with your Journey.

Hey, it's great to see people from New Hampshire here! I'm a newbie, too, living in Rochester. I'm just starting to learn about raw foods and just bought a juicer, dehydrator, new food processor and wheatgrass growing kit. I've been juicing green juices for about two weeks now and my body literally craves them! I'm enjoying all I'm learning here in these posts and especially love the pictures and recipes.

Good luck on your journey, fellow raw foodists! I look forward to sharing lots of information on these message boards. Cheers to your health, nature-lly ;)
