i am only on my second day of eating 100% raw. this is huge for me. i finally got my click. i did, however, consume a handful of nuts, 8 dates rolled in coconut with an almond and a few tbsp of cashew butter during the day. do you limit how many nuts and nut butters you consume? i want to do this right. it's only been two days and i haven't been having any detox symptoms really. i have been chugging the water like you wouldn't believe and my lips still feel dehydrated. what's up with that? if i'm going to do this, i want to do this right. i just don't want to overdo the nuts and nut butters and end up gaining weight. i'll cut back tomorrow.

Hi, I think you need to get Alissa's book it is very helpful. In it she talks about the Raw food groups, leafy greens and vegs. Sweet fruits, non-sweet fruits, fats(avocados, nuts, olives, coconuts). I think if you eat a little out of all these groups you will not get out of balance of have a lot of cravings and you will loose weight if that is what you want. And of course combine the correctly. Good luck

Hopefully you're eating more than dates and nutbutters. Hard to give advice on so little information yet, I will say when one goes raw, one needs to eat whatever you want whenever you want. If one doesn't one tends to get REALLY hungry and go for whatever ~ meaning whatever will fill one up in the moment.

Having said that, I agree w/ leeleelocs. Get Alissa's book and dvd's and you'll be good to go.
