Pomelo

I know the white under the peel of oranges suppose to have most vitamin C and I love to eat it. Now I peel them so most of it stays on. But how about the pomelo. The white stuff is kind of bitter.

What is a pomello. I have not seen the word before.

I LOVE pomello - my favourite!!! It is like a drier, sweeter grapefruit. I peel all the white skin off and just eat the fruit. I don't know what the vitC composition of the white peel is though.

I just looked at the little label on the fruit and they spell it PUMMELO.
