I have tried doing the salt water flush a couple of times while doing the master cleanse and all three times that I had chugged the salt water, nothing happened what so ever down stairs. I'm using 2 tsp in a quart of water. The salt i'm using is The Original Brand Celtic Sea Salt that I bought at Whole Foods Market. Has anyone else had problems with the salt water flush other than the unpleasant taste? I'm i doing something wrong? What should i do differently to get my BM moving?

Curious,,,,,,,,,have you been raw for some time or been SAD and going cold turkey into this fast?
Myself, I don't repsond very well to 1-2 tsp I had to increse to 1 tbsp or possible 2 tbsp. the MC book discusses that it may vary for some people. :)

The last couple of months i have been SAD and i'm going cold turkey into this fast.
I can't help ya-I think 2 tsp salt is too much for me! Actually, come to think of it, I drank one cup of Smooth Move tea at bedtime, then did the salt water flush. It was too intense, so last night I skipped the tea and this morning I will just have the salt water. Not looking forward to it tho....

I have been on the master cleanse for 5 days now. I am doing the salt water flush every morning and have no problems about 30mins after drinking the Salt Water. I had a neighbor that is doing the Cleanse with me and it took him a little more time to get it going the first morning. I think he had to drink an extra 8-16 ounces to get it going.
Just curious, I wonder how good this is to do a couple of times a week after I have finished the cleanse???? Anyone have any ideas?
