Did you wipe to see if it was near rectal area? Did you have staight watery elimination or a series of clumpy more dry ones first? I've done the flush many times and at times b/c it causes pressure to build up in the colon, I would an occassional bleeding in the "exit" door.

Oh God, now the world knows it's happened to the both of us :D

Purl: Sometimes the flush requires altering the recipe to fit the way your body reacts. I've gotten to the point that I don't do the flush everyday like it suggests. The lfush is quite intense and can be harsh :p

Purl , from what i read in my like 50 book health library is that when your fasting and flushing , i believe your fasting , you are cleaning out sediments from the nooks and crannys of your intestinal tract . sediments build up in the folds of your intestines when you are always eating which sometimes can cause little sores . then when you fast flush the sediments are washed away leaving the open sore which discharges a little blood then quickly heals . remember this opinion is only derived from reading , i have no medical education . though i do believe same thing happened to me recently on 16 day fast when i discharged a little blood . it just made me more determined to stay on fast and clean everything out . healthy newyear !!!

It is also possible that you might have a small hemmorhoid.

I was wondering the same thing. If it is a hemmroid I can't imagine fasting could hurt....
