Yesterday was really easy for me. The last 2 times I fasted I did with the wrong attitude. I was like "Waaahh! I can't eat! This is so hard." but this time I feel really upbeat about cleaning out my system, and (for me) getting closer to God. I feel really excited about breaking down the stronghold of cooked foods and replacing it with good healthy eating habits.Anyway-I'm tracking this in my journal, but I thought I'd put it here too-my weight, as of yesterday is 168 lbs. I'm not getting on the scale til Sunday and then I'll weigh myself every Sunday.

Day 5 Fast- HAD SOOO MUCH ENERGY YESTERDAY!!! I can finally really breath and getting rid of muccus (sp?). I can smell everything - good :D & bad  Not hungry much and the juice I drink fills me up pretty fast and it carries me over for up to 3-4 hours now. I feel great and that's my ultimate goal - to have better health. Going to order the book RAW Spirit - looking forward to reading it.
Have a blessed day!

Today is day 1 for me. I haven't had any issues. I usually don't when I am doing a fast. Go Team Go! I am so happy to have found this website.

Yesterday went pretty good. I felt kinda tired around 2 pm and I was starting to lose my motivation, but then I had my lunch-juice and perked right up. I had a slight headache most of yesterday-but not that bad. This is so easy I figure I must be doing something wrong! LOL! The last time I fasted I thought I was going to die by Day 3-but now I feel like "Bring it on!" It's amazing what a positive attitude can do! I feel "lighter" -oh and I slept like a baby! I usu. toss and turn and wake up several times a night-but last night I slept straight thru and I feel GREAT!

I wasn't sure where to post this - here or on the other thread so I guess I'll post it on both until someone tells me otherwise. Today is day 2, and neither day 1 nor 2 has been difficult. They have been really easy. I exercised for 75 minutes the first day (leisurely walks) and weight trained for 40 minutes and leisurely walked for 15 minutes yesterday. No need for herbal laxative teas nor the salt water flush. I have had major elimination both days without the use of either one of them. I was just a little on the tired side last night but went to bed at 7 pm and got up at 6:30 this morning, feeling refreshed, alive and rejuvenated! All is well! I have had no major hunger pangs. Usually, by the 3rd day, the hunger is pretty much gone and all that is left are cravings. The funny thing? I was starting to crave a green smoothie yesterday (better than craving cakes, cookies, pies, etc) and am really looking forward to finally introducing them into my lifestyle at the end of the fast. I am down 6 lbs in 2 days, too (which really took me by surprise) My dh & I talked last night and came to the conclusion that if he thought I was starting to get waaaay too thin, then it would be time to stop the fast and start eating healthy, but I really believe I'll go the full 21 days as I know you don't always experience a loss every day of a fast, plus it's not really the weight that matters (though it is fun watching the scale go down) but more, it's the excess I have that I know will go away with proper nutrition and exercises. I don't expect it to go away within 21 days, though, either. I know it might take a year of healthy eating along with fasting and exercising to really get the excess gone. Well, good luck to all! Usually, my 3rd day is difficult, but I declared this fast would not be difficult at all, and it hasn't been! And it wont' be!

Day 6 - Hello All! Happy to hear you're doing well in your fast :) I have a very nice first 4 days and then yesterday about 9am I went down hill. I know the reason and hope that soon it will be gone. (Not going #2) I have the worst bags under my eyes and I know when I detox that happens. I had the worst cravings yesterday too. The worst as of yet even when I ate raw for the 13 days before fast.... Today is much better! I keep reminding myself that my body needs this break from digesting food. I am confident that this will be the best way for me to break my addiction/obsession for cooked food. YOU ARE ALL IN MY PRAYERS!!! :p Be kind to yourselves!!! :p

I;m doing well today on Day 3. I exercised for about 75 mins on days one and two with 4-5 mile walks. Today wanted to be more quiet. But got tons of work done at my desk and on the phone. Some detox days 1 and 2, headache, fatigue, crankiness, but today I feel good. not high, just good. Clear, energized, focused and content.
Hunger's pretty much gone, but I've got cravings for get this! avo, tomato, onion on alissa tortilla, and my date, raisin, almond balls! Things sure do change!Setting my intention to eat well is already manifesting in my cravings. Feeding myself lots of love, adoration, and appreciation too.

Way to go Sparkle. I am on day 3 also. So far so good. I just need to exercise more. I lost 5 pounds already. I am worried that it is just going to be some water weight and will pop back on as soon a I start eating veggies by the way. I think I just need to go back to working out six days a week.
