I have been MIA for awhile now but my new years resolution is to transition back to raw instead of jumping back in feet first like i've done so many times before. For me, I feel transitioning at a comfortable pace will help me make lasting changes this time. I wish I could just go raw today but I don't want to fail again! The swinging back & forth is taking a toll on my both my body & my spirits. One thing is for sure... I will get there! Raw=LIFE :D

Hi Raw Vegan Mom,
So glad you came back and are trying aother approach. Not everyone can jump in at 100%. I've been transitioning for a number of years (I know a long time) but there are foods that I slowly weaned off of and no longer miss and will never go back to. They are out of my life and diet for good. Now I'm just struggling with just a couple of foods and I'll beat them too.
So do whatever approach you have to do, the most important thing is to get to 100% and it really doesn't matter if it's tomorrow or if it's 6 months down the road, as long as you get there.

Thank you both for the welcome back! :D I did really good today, surprised myself even! I hope to me mostly or even all raw by this summer but if it takes longer oh well I WILL get there!

Hey now I know what was missing in this chat rooms!! YOU!! I am sorry to learn that you are still dealing with being raw but I want you to know that I look up at you, and still do, what with your marvellous raw creations. The thought of people like you, who are very blessed with good raw food creating ability, are part of the reason which makes me stay total raw. You can do better than me, I have strong believe in you, especially noting that I am a mess, klutz, hopeless in the kitchen!
So there you have it. YOU have it! Good to know you are coming back to the wagon.... it is slowing down for you, just so you can catch up!!
Before I end I would like to share this sentence I just saw off the net seconds ago, 'It does not matter how slow you go, as long as you do not stop' :D
my best to you!!

Welcome Back!
It's funny it was YOUR post on another board that brought me here! :) I too took a little break and have just come back. Slow and steady for me. I think it will make meal planning easier and it has a better chance of being part of my lifestyle. Goes to show you everyone needs a different approach.
