:D Greetings! I live about 30 minutes from Canada in a little village called Dexter, New York (near Watertown and 1 hr. no. of Syracuse)...I have yet to meet another raw foodist and have a hard time explaining it to people (not a hard time but I get annoyed I guess at constantly defending my ideals)...I am just curious if there are any "others" nearby. I have been "raw" since August (2005) and cannot begin to explain how great and ALIVE I feel after enduring some health "issues" last year. A year ago I remember being in agony. Now, here I am...healthy and TRYING to get my family of 7 to join mama on the raw food wagon!...(may need divine intervention on that one!)... ;)
I have 5 beautiful children and a great husband. The kids are eating 1 raw meal per day...usually breakfast....any suggestions for their lunches? They already get singled out for their "organic"/"healthy" lunches and they defend me...but I don't need any phone calls regarding an altercation from the school either :D any suggestions for some healthy lunch ideas? My kids range from 9-19....then there's the hubby.....he is definately living the SAD, wants to change but can't seem to take the PLUNGE. I think if he will, everyone will (have to) because our groceries will change considerably! wish me luck! Maybe the New Year will bring positive changes!!! :)
