This is a local CSA about 5-7 miles from my house. Do you think 1 share is enough? Should I buy two shares? ONE share is $675... The full share lasts 24 weeks, but it's bi-monthly in Nov and Dec
"Membership Benefits Include:
•8-17 lbs of fresh, organic produce each week during the share season from a convenient location
•Biweekly newsletter full of recipes, farm news and sustainable agriculture information
•Opportunities to purchase bulk produce at discount prices for canning and freezing
•Discounts on other local produce such as apples and bread at our Granby and Montague stands
•The opportunity to work with the farmers (plant, weed, harvest, mulch) or assist with outreach to new members
•Invitation to farm events such as the annual tomato taste test and to otherwise enjoy the farm for recreation, walking, picnicking, etc.
•Our full CSA harvest season extends from the week of June 6th until the week of December 12th (except that distributions are every other week in November and December). This amounts to 24 distribution dates.
•Each share will consist of 8-17 pounds of mixed produce each week.
so-whaddaya think?
