Hi, becky, I don't think anyone can really tell you what to eat; it's up to your preferences/needs/lifestyle.
For example, some folks must eat first thing in the morning; others can't even think about food till noon. I consume my first meal when I get back from my morning run, which is a recovery meal -- a green smoothie; then, a couple to few hours later, I have my fruit meal. Later, I have my vegetable meal and, if hungry, I'll have a small vegetable meal again. In between, if I have the munchies, I'll have a handful of nuts or seeds. That's my routine; you have to discover what works for you.
what have you been eating this, your first week? Congratulations on your healthy choice, by the way :)

As this question comes up often I did a search here (banana up top) and typed in "menu ideas". This is one thread I came up with which may be of assistance:

Good thread. As it has been metioned, the food selection is pretty much personal/and what you are accustomed to eating. I usually start my day with a glass of water with a squeeze of lemon or lime. I pack fruit (either whole or cut in manageable pieces) which I consume during my long commute. Lunch is usally leftovers of whatever I have prepared from Alissa's book the day before or a salad with lots of goodies on top with a simple dressing of extra virgin olive oil and lemon. Dinner is usually a recipe from Alissa's book--either a pate in veggie rollups, soup or something light like a salad--whatever my hunger level dictates. I simply cannot believe how easy and satisfying this new way of eating has become for me. If you have not already done so, I highly recommend Alissa's book and DVD's--was the clincher for me anyway.

Good luck on your diet choices and good health.
