Hello everyone
My name is Tracy I am from Silverton Oregon. I have been a vegatian for 7 years due to food allergies and health problems caused by that. about 3 months ago I tried raw foods because it just sounded right. (I am always looking at how to gain health. Iam a massage theripist for 11 yrs and have been amazed about the ability of the body to repair the things we do to It) any way I lasted only 1 month on raw foods. I think because I had no one to talk to and share Ideas about this way of eating. My family (huband and 2 daughters) have there own way of eating and I think I may beable to help them better when I can get myself under control. In the short time I did the raw food way I felt fantastic! I am sad that feeling better then I have felt in yrs was not anuff for me to stick to it. Iam very new at the computor thing this is the first link I have ever been on and I am very exited to get the suport from others that I will allow the feeling of good health to be anuff for me to stay raw. Looking forward to growing healthy with all of you.

Welcome Tracy! I'm from the other green state --WA. Please enjoy your stay here.
Chat room??? I'm not sure what you mean but as you scroll down on the main page, there are other topics for example: "Raw food discussions" if you click on that brings up sub topics that members have created.
Ciao,

hi tracy , i became a herbivore 12 years ago because a that age ,35 , i finally became wise enough to realize that a human creature with higher mental powers preying upon and leaching off of all the other creatures on the planet was ridiculous and not what i wanted to be , it was like i was still a cave man . so i broke my link in the food chain and became a strict vegan . then i adjusted my diet to only simple raw or cooked plant matter , no human concoctions like pop , cake , etc . only dry beans , rice , boiled or baked potato , salad , water , nuts , seed , that type diet . then i was given the book '" raw vegetable and fruit juices '' by n.w. walker which started my war to convert to raw vegan . and which is the reason i decided to post this note to you . this man nw walker got ill in like his 20"s after living his life on basic scottish diet , then he changed to raw plant matter diet and healed himself ,and went on to attain a 118 year body span . in this book he , hes a scientist - chemist - nutritionist , explains what the problems are with heating raw plant matter , the diseased cells and tissues it causes . and what the benifits of fueling your cells with raw plant matter are . this mans opinion is what i trust in . you can get his raw vegi book mailorder from norwalk press -po box 12260-prescott , arizona 86304-2260 for $10 . remember that he wrote this book like 70 years ago (but he updated it in the 70"s ) so its not completely up to speed but his base point is the best ive heard . heres their ph # 5204455567 , theyll send you a pamplet describing all his books .
