I live in the Hampton Roads area of VIrginia and would like to know if anyone else is from around here and if so where they get their greens. I have been to numerous stores around here and none of them have a consistent supply of high quality organic greens. I know of a store in Richmond, but that is a 3 hour drive round trip. I don't want to have to drive that far every Saturday.

I am stumped as to how I am going to get my greens. Those mixed green plastic boxes I don't like so much. I like Kale, but I can't find it anywhere. I got the last of it at the one place that sells good organic Kale, and everywhere else, it tastes bad. I can't survive on broccoli and mixed baby greens.

I really need my greens for minerals. I have bad teeth as I have mentioned on here before.

Also, what other options could I have for minerals? I heard sesame seeds are good, but all I could find was a quarter cup sized bottle. Way too expensive for that tiny amount.

One thing you can do is sprout seeds and beans. Ann Wigmore has a great book on sprouting, and there are other books about it. Also, I take Dr. Schulze's Superfood, which I now make myself. Another good source of minerals are sea veggies - I especially like dulse cut up in salads. You can order it from Maine Coast Sea Vegetables.

And, in the spring, you can plant kale - very easy to grow! Many people grow it throughout the winter.

Evacuations - if you read the article - is the flushing out of your mouth. Did you find anything else interesting/

Sounds like a basic water pick. Is that right? Would it be wise to invest in one? If so, can you provide some guidance on brand/model?

i have no direct guidance, per se, however i know our British friend, Arky, ordered a really cool one off othe internet once he found out that it can stimulate growth... and evacuate out the nasties that brushing, flossing, rinsing do not. i was planning on doing the same myself in jan/feb. The thread for that would be in our dental section, if you care to 'yellow banana' it.
