New to raw

Hi, I've been reading this bulletin board for months. I really would like to try going raw. I need to lose a lot of weight but would be happy just feeling better. I plan to start with the new year. I've joined the 30 day challenge for Jan. Looking forward to getting to know all of you. Wish me luck! Jazzycd

I am in the same boat. I joined the site this month, and I am planning a holistic detox and raw in the new year. I am looking for support and this place seems wonderful! Heather, This sounds crazy but I can't wait til the Holidays are over so I can get started. I plan to try a few recipes from Alissa's book and some from this web site over the Holidays to help me get ready. It will be fun keeping in touch and hearing how things are going. 2006 is our year :D Jazzy

I am too excited, for both of us! And of course our friends here.............Its nice to have all this support. I have been gathering recipes for us to try/modify and explore! Hope we stay in touch through our journey. Glad we met, this group is wonderful.
