Carrot and Raisin Salad

I want to make a carrot and raisin salad for one of the Christmas foods. Alissa has a Carrot - Raisin Crunch in her book. Is that at all like the SAD c&r salad?

Or should I make her mayonaisse and mix it in with shredded carrots and raisins to make it more like the SAD one.

I have never had any sad carrot salad, but I can tell you, I make Alissa's carrot salad all the time and just love it. :)
I made it this past week to carry in my raw food center, and completely sold out of it. Yummy stuff!

I came on the board today looking for a recipe for a carrot/raisin salad. I wasn't too sure, either, what to use for the mayo. I have never had Alissa's mayo but I am willing to try it for this recipe.

Did you ever attempt to make the salad? If so, how did it turn out?

I too am accustom to the mayo on the carrot salad, until years ago my son (probably 10 at the time) ask why I put mayo on it, as he didn't care for mayo. So I slowly weaned myself away, using very little mayo.

Now I follow Allisia's receipe, substituting coconut oil for the olive oil and omitting the kelp. It is really good, you don't even miss the mayo! Try it!
