I want to wish all of you a wonderful holiday season and an amazing new year!

Ive had another great year meeting so many of you on this board when you came to the certification training here in Laguna Beach and I know IÂ’ll be meeting more of you from the board in January and then in March for the one in NH.

I first want to thank you all for your support of alissacohen.com and for your beautiful emails this past year thanking me for what I do. It is the reason I love what I do and it inspires me more then you know. I deeply appreciate it.

Second, I wanted to thank all of you for sharing a piece of yourselves so that others can learn from you, for reaching out for help so that others are taught through the obstacles that youÂ’ve had to go through and for being a source of knowledge, inspiration and the magical beings that you are.

I see so many post here that I know are making a difference to others who are reading them. You donÂ’t even know how many people your touching, but from reading your words they are seeing the light at the end, or rather the beginning, of their lives.

I see new people who are growing and becoming happier and healthier because of the light and wisdom you all share.

I am reminded now of why my moderators and I try to keep this board positive and a source of inspiration. I always say, its great to questions and ask, but the experience is in the doing. We can always find those that try to pull us down in fear or into their ‘stuff’ but this board is a place where you can come and feel connected and to stay inspired.

On that note I also want to say that whatever you find yourself eating or doing this holiday season, be kind to yourself. Remember itÂ’s all about the food and itÂ’s not at all about the food. Its whatÂ’s in your heart that truly counts.

Feed yourself well so you have the energy and the light to share with others but cherish the moments of joy this holiday and do what feels best to you and what feeds your soul.

Remember that stress and negativity can cause an acid condition in your body and that can be worse then some of the food you may eat.

So wrap yourself in love and surround yourself with people who care about you this holiday season and know that you are perfect exactly as you are right now.

With gratitude that you have all come into my path and allowed me into yours,
Alissa

I want to add my gratitude to this growing "thank you" thread.

Alissa, you really are my "teacher" when it comes to raw foods. I resonate with your message and your energy. I love your book and your DVD. And when I try a new recipe I imagine you in the kitchen concocting or perfecting it!

This board is a lifeline for me and such a warm and loving place. You have attracted such light and loving and generous souls to your site. No surprise!

Thank you from the bottom of my "Not yet 100% raw" heart. I am thrilled with my present progress when I turn around and look at where I came from with my SAD and my family is benefitting already, thanks to you and your message.

The happiest of holidays to you and your family from me and mine!

Love and Light,

Alissa,

Thank you for your book and the wonderful site you host to help us in our continued journey to healthy and healthful eating.

I ordered your book and DVD as I had wanted to go raw for some time. It was the best thing I could have done for myself. Both came unbelievably fast and I watched the DVD's back to back the same day I got them. My first thougt was how easy it seemed--I started right away and am 5 weeks raw as of today and absolutely loving it. I credit your positive approach and the oh-so-do-able recipes in making this possible.

My health is improving along with my positive weekly weigh-in's and the way my clothes fit attest to the fact this is the way I will continue.

My deep gratitude and blessings go to you and your family for a happy and joy-filled holiday and a most prosperous new year.

Thank you.

Kathy

Thank you Alissa for hosting and paying for this site. I really appreciate the time and energy you have put into it. You are an awesome inspirational teacher and motivator, even though I've never met you, I can tell from your writing, video and postings.

I'd also like to thank the speedy and swift moderators for snapping into action what needs to be taken care of. I've seen this site grow for the 1+ years I've contirbuted and you guys are awesome keeping your cool when things get nuts!

May God's light reach out and touch us all!

Alissa,

I've finally seen your DVDs and read most of your book. They are both awesome! I love the flexibility you give us and the fact that you ENCOURAGE us to be flexible (at least us beginners)

I have yet to put it into practice but you have taught me how to make eating raw sound much better. When I started raw last month and told people, they tried all the more to get me to eat whatever it was they were offering (during Thanksgiving).

I'm probably going to read your book a few more times after I finish it and watch your DVDs a few more times too.

Thanks for bringing this to us all!

Craig
