What are your GOALS for this coming year?

I'm still working on mine - but the first one I have is that I will SET GOALS - again. I'd gotten away from that for a while due to just utter chaos. Chaos isn't allowed in my life anymore ( at least it's controlling effects/affects), so I'm going into 2006 stronger for having lived in 2005!

Who's next?

I do not have food goals or career goals as I feel that I have reached my goals in both areas but I have totally failed in the area of exercise and spending more time out of doors.
I am going to spend from now to 1st January setting out a program and convincing myself that all me efforts to eat healthy will be of no use to me if I do not exercise. I know that it is just a bad habit. I have got to do this and I will.
Use it or loose it. Use it or loose it. Use it or loose it. Use it or loose it.

I hope to successfully get off of salt, increase my intake of fresh, ripe fruit, and before 2007 fly to California to become certified by Alissa.

This is a year for a class reunion. My husband was a year older than me in school so we have to go this year and next year to reunions... I plan to be close to 168lbs by May. This is my number goal for the year!

I want to challenge myself and be 100% for 100 days...maybe longer. My guesstimate is that goal will take me to April 10 and then I can review and set a new goal! I'm excited as at this time I have only completed 34 days at 100%.

I love hearing everyone's goals, this is such an inspiring forum! (I'm so glad I found it) My goals are

to let my intuintive spirit guide me more,

to grow spiritually and intellectually (read, read, read-- I love reading so that shouldn't be a problem),

become more socially active (really taking a stand for what I believe in),

keeping strengthing the bond with my loving husband, my family, and my friends,

and of course--
to be as healthy as I can (which includes being 100% raw).

Alrighty Then!

In a little under 6 hours GMT time - we're GOING FOR IT!

Get your goals READY.

Let's post some more on them ( I know I will be ) - in the next week or so - and then work to BEST them. There was a little system I used to use to do this way on back when ( before memory loss ); it really helped me hurdle what appeared to be unsurmountable obstacles.

WE WILL DO THIS!

Although, for me, a change of year is not the sole motivating factor. I explained to someone in a private note that when I make changes it is because it is for something that is deep and meaningful to me. This fits the bill for me, and it's like it's what I always wanted. I just can't see myself in anything else.

But I am looking forward to having my first calendar year entirely filled with raw days, weeks and months. I am looking forward to the health changes.

It is now 7:22 Atlantic, less than 5 hours away from Atlantic Canada's new year!

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!

much love,
Ariannah

My resolutions for the new year are:

* Free myself from food addiction
* Free myself from Chaos addiction - good progress so far but, on-going
* Love myself more - take care of myself
* Expand my custom sewing business
* Kick the child archetype out of my house of finance and get educated about money
* Do more art! Don't allow myself to get distracted by minutia and instead start painting more.
* Increase the number of people in my life who inspire me, get rid of the people in my life who bring nothing but pain and negativity

Happy New Year everyone!

Happy New Year to everyone! It is almost 7:00 PM here in the Seattle area so it is getting close now!

Let me see, I am sure I will have to come back and add to this...

In 2006 I hope to...

* Love more deeply and not worry so much about getting hurt
* Not worry so much as I know this stops me from doing so many things I really want to do
* Let go of fears that stop me from moving forward as I want to
* Allow more abundance into my life in relationships and financially
* Not just continue with my high raw diet (going into my 3rd year!) but to be 100%!
* To enjoy life more, make more time for myself and family and friends
* To make a point of having LOTS more fun
* To let go of old hurts that sure can come into my mind and haunt me
* Remember the cup is half full and not half empty!
* To continue caring for my mother (she will be 85 in February) and accept all the challenges of being a caregiver for a parent with as much grace and patience as I can find within myself (going into our 5th year of this situation)
* To finally get our new home finished (it has been a 6 year project!)
* To grow and develop my home based businesses (traveling pedicurist, certified raw food chef and raw lifestyle coach, and my rental properties-I bought another house and the deal closes on January 31st so with my fingers crossed all will go okay-it is a lovely home in the middle of Poulsbo and I am so excited about buying it! What a blessing this has been, I did not think I could accomplish this in 2006 and here it is happening.)
* I would love to attend Massage School this year so I am hoping for some miracle to happen so I can also do this
* To spread the word of this lifestyle and start a local raw food potluck and support system
* To spend some time daily counting my blessings, I am a very lucky gal and I want to be more mindful of just how good life is!
* I will finally go to Chaco Canyon Café in Seattle and hope that some of the other Seattle folks can join me!

Well, I know there will be more so I will be back! Ha!

KNOW ALL YE PRESENT:
Henceforth and forthwith, I, the above-named Grubby Little Paws, do hereby resolve to:

01 ... Give thanks earnestly and often for surviving 2005. Many did not. I made it through another year, and for this I am grateful.

02 ... Choose Wisdom. There is beauty in humility; being right and being righteous are two completely different things.

03 ... Give annoying, whiny, petulant people all of their drama back ... NO EXCHANGES, NO REFUNDS, ALL SALES FINAL!

04 ... Complain less. Listen more.

05 ... Turn off the TV and pick up a book. Often. Without remorse.

06 ... Buy a %$#& car already!

07 ... Fly my Mommy out to California for a visit http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d158/Qaiicz/Emoticons_Yahoo_Tongue_Out.gif

08 ... Tell her I love her more often. She won't be around forever.

09 ... Stare in disgust at nutrient-stripped, overprocessed food and firmly, disdainfully tell the offending party: "I don't eat ... that."

10 ... Remember that the avg. child laughs 300x a day, but the avg. adult laughs a measly 12; this is a grievous error that must be remedied daily!

11 ... Complete at least one 1-3 week Outdoor Wilderness Adventure.

12 ... Buy the damned juicer and dehydrator already and quit screwing around!

13 ... Make a better, raw-food version of every dead food I previously loved.

14 ... Dabble extensively in the fascinating worlds of soil, organic, and hydroponic gardening.

15 ... Date someone with gigantic, mesmerizing, sparkling blue eyes. Or green. Whatever.

16 ... Read the latest novels that were recently made into movies and determine what all the fuss is about.

17 ... Care much less about what others think of me and much more about what I think of myself.

18 ... Write short stories. Edit them. Submit them. Be proud of them, regardless of the outcome.

19 ... Mentor someone ... somewhere ... somehow. I am blessed beyond measure and grateful indeed for the bounty. It's time I acted like it.

20 ... Make my physical, mental, and emotional health the ongoing #1 priority in my life. Where good health trailblazes, all else must follow.
