I am scheduled to be induced at the hospital tomorrow morning at 6. They will not let you eat once you are there.

I have been wondering, though, what do you all think would be the best thing to eat before going in. I will need something that will hold me over for hours but won't be too heavy or hard to digest.

Any suggestions?

I would have a fresh veggie juice or a piece of ripe fruit but I have never given birth so I don't know for sure. These are the foods that digest the best for me..or a fruit smoothie.

Good luck and may you have a very joy-filled day.

Are you a green smoothie fan? They really keep you feeling full, but are easy to eat and digest because they're already blended up. I make mine with an orange, a banana, some frozen berries, filtered water, hemp protein powder, and spinach. The protein powder is a recent addition, and it really helps keep me full longer. Something like this may work for you.

Congratulations on your new addition! ;)

May I ask where you get your hemp protein powder??

Thanks...I would liek to add this to my smoothies too. Does it digest okay??? since it is not "food combined properly??"
