For those people who eat products such as hemp protein powder or shapeshift, do you find that you recover more easily from workouts?
I've been using hemp protein powder (1-2 servings a day) pretty regularly for 2 or 3 weeks now. I had been pretty sedentary for most of it, and when I exercised yesterday and the day before, I worked my muscles harder than I had in...I dunno...maybe ever? I expected to have sooooo much soreness...but the soreness has been surprisingly mild!!! I'm wondering if using an easily assimilable form of protein such as hemp may help with muscle recovery.
Does anyone else notice similar effects?
