sure!

One thing I've learned living in SoCal where we have blackouts, earthquakes, etc. is to carry cash. Not to circulate yet to just keep it in the back of my wallet for anything that might come up. It doesn't need to be an emergency yet, IF one needs to purchase a gallon of water or some food because the electricity is out, the only way one can do this is with cash. Those with cash win in such cases.

It's sort of fun (sad, actually) to watch folk when there's a black out standing in line trying to get their money out of the wall when there's no electricity.

Just a thought. Personally, I carry $100 minimum when I go out.

Wow Konmai,

Thank you. This brought tears to my eyes as, no, I actually get very few messages of appreciation. I do receive a LOT of pleasure from seeing folk take what I say and put it into action.

It seems it's easier to slam someone than give them appreciation.

Thank you so much for this. My day was going well. It just got a lot better.

Thank you for your kind words and input.

Much appreciation and wishing you the best holidays and new year ever ~

Revvell

Hi Revvell,

This is just a "thank you" note for your presence on this forum! Thank you so much! You probably get a ton of these types of messages whether it's on here or offline, but I felt this pull to just add another one in your collection. =)

I'm in my early 20s, & there have been so many opportunities offered to me throughout my life that I have not noticed. Many things have happened to me, which at the time, I thought to be misfortunes. I love the way you give insight as much as you can, but at the same time be able to call out a person's self-destructive thoughts firmly. At first, I was very, very, very surprised! But I needed those posts from you to be like they are to learn the things I am currently learning. Thank you so, so, so much!!!!!!!

Happy Holidays!

makes perfect sense, and i agree. thanks.

lol @ folk tryna get money out of "the wall"! thankfully i've never been in that situation.

it certainly isn't something i don't do purposely. i get aggrivated with myself at times for not having any on me. i need to make it a point to go to the bank and actually get some out. seems lately that it's a result of me no longer doing certain gigs where i was paid cash. so now my cash stash is no more, and i've just failed to reorganize things.

thanks again for your insight. i'm also in agreement with konmai. :)

wooo hooooo!

o.k. so i was at the dollar store standing in line getting ready to make a small purchase. the man in front with a full basket turns around and insists that i go ahead of him since i didn't have much to purchase. i smile, and happily tell him thanks. well, when it's my time to purchase, i'm diggin' through my checkbook tryng to find the $1 bill that i knew i had put in there. my plan was to quickly pull that out along with some coins in the compartment of my purse. well, i couldn't find the $1, so i thanked the guy and told him to go ahead, so i could find some money to pay for the stuff.

so he's checking out, and i'm knealing down with my purse on the floor tryna dig out a dollar from somewhere. i finally found it and stood there waiting to buy. so the generous man motions to the cashier to ring up my items along with his! so i'm there with a huge smile like, "are you sure?" so he confirms and pays for my items. it was only $1.28 worth of stuff, but i was very grateful. i hardly ever carry cash, and that $1 bill was the only one i had on me, lol! so i got to keep it. :D

i've learned to always be open to abundace and generosity from others. in the past i would have insisted to the guy that i pay for the items myself. but, shoot! i gotta whole different mindset these days, lol!

peace

agh hahaha! although I'm learning about receiving abundance, I find myself rejecting it from time to time. i.e. I remember being in a grocery store, & I only went in for an apple. The guy in front me had a few things and told me to go ahead, but I refused!!!! I mean, for one thing, it would probably made his day to just let me go and just for me to accept abundance!!!!

I'll keep your post in mind, when the universe is in a place to give, hehehe.

I'm enjoying this thread! As for me today, I was recalling some friends and things they've done that have inspired me with manifesting/attraction. Thought it might be fun to share some of their experiences too.

Here's one... a friend of mine, that is a realtor, wanted a car that was very expensive. At that time, it was far beyond what he could afford. He framed a picture of the car he wanted and put it on the wall by his desk. The housing market was slow but, he really wanted that car. He would look at the picture every day and 'see' himself driving it. He affirmed it, stayed positive. and kept 'seeing' himself owning this car... some of his co-workers kidded him about doing this... but, he persisted with it.

The housing market didn't improve during that time... but his sales did! It was uncanny that he was consistently drawing more business... not less in a slow market. Within 9 months, he had the new car he wanted. He didn't need a loan... he had the money to pay for it! :p

I'm enjoying this thread!

Good! I'm appreciating your participation! Starts creating some momentum as you did by joining in the "abundance" thread. :)

What's been going on with us is, Bo started working with some folk who purchased a promotional products business. They set him up as a distributor thinking that he would be selling a lot of their products. Turned out customers wanted SOME of them but mostly other things which, of course, he sold them. He soon realized that he could (eventually) make more money from the manufacturing end so, joined as a partner in the original business.
Well, as a manufacturer, he's been working his tail off doing work that "should" be going to others as he's a design/graphics guy.

Now, June is purchasing radio station software and we spoke last night. She said she can give him enough work doing the taping/editing, etc. of the shows PLUS video-taping seminars and workshops that he can make full-time $$$ and then some. (He's got enough equipment to equip two stations). We've still got to work out the specifics yet, it seems this will work out for him and he can still work for the other company doing what he loves which is, photography, design, and graphics.

Yahoooooo!!!!

Isn't it Star???? Been searching software so June and her partner can create more income instead of less.

We're all also looing at multiple streams of passive income ~ meaning creating income while we sleep. I noticed Rawkinlocs put that she's doing that. We are as well with an eBook (1 up, 1 more coming).

For anyone having their own business, that is one way to establish yourself as an expert ~ write a book. I've counseled numerous people on this site into how to do that. Once it's written, you can sell it as an eBook to create income to get the published version up.

Thank you for all you support and sharing all you are doing Star. So fun to read! Please, keep it up! :)

Great ideas for passive income and establishing oneself as an expert... :p

This morning, I was thinking about Flytie's dollar store experience and Konmai at the grocery store.
Experiences like that can be so encouraging and valuable for manifesting.

Often it is the little things in a day, a week that keep me on track... with my focus in attracting/manifesting. It may be green lights if I'm hurrying, close parking places. Hearing from someone I was just thinking of, discounts and sales on things I decided to buy beforehand, or someone's comment mirroring a (manifesting) focus I'm doing but haven't shared. And, other little experiences of synchronicity and abundance... that keep me inspired and help... with my focus for manifesting the bigger things.

Another thing is to buy for others as well. If one drives where they have to pay the toll, pay for the guy behind ya. Let someone else cut in front of ya. Little simple things really add up to make a big difference.

It's like how some people will take little perceived "wrongs", store them away, then make a big issue out of it at some point. This, is doing the opposite. Take little things ~ like eating sanely, daily conscious movement, letting others cut in front, giving appreciations, paying for someone else, realizing your own abundance ~ THOSE little things also make a big difference ~ done regularly.

Star, thank you for all the seeds you're planting which get me to thinking about these things. You are such a doll. Have a fantabulous day.

oh my goddess, I love this thread!

I've always considered myself a "seeker" of some sort and really do believe in the power of the universe and how we create our own destiny/lives/etc. I guess just remembering it and practicing it is another story though.

earlier in the thread people were discussing romantic relationships and how we attract what we want and I'd like to share my story.

For years I seemed to have so much trouble with men.. always being attracted to the ones who would treat me badly or the ones I couldn't ever *really* be with.. men who were unavailable, etc..etc. Then in the summer of 2005 I started talking on the phone with a good man I had been friends with online for six years.. It started as a friendship, but we were talking everyday and decided to meet that summer for a concert... I realized this guy was amazing. He was so kind to others, so generous to me and strangers, a hard worker, totally cute :p , made me laugh, and wanted to be in a relationship.. I mean, he was available and asking me to move in with him.. wow, talk about not being scared of commitment! So I packed my bags and moved across the country to live with him.. it's been over a year now and we're engaged and so completely happy.

I realized that for those 29 years previously, I was more into the idea of romance and the thrill of the chase. The thrill of meeting someone new and not knowing if he liked me and wondering and calling my girlfriends to say "oh my gawd! I kissed so and so.. do you think he'll call me?!?"..... Such high school behavior even at 29! Once I got serious with myself and told myself that I was ready for a real, adult relationship..something that would last where he and I would be there for each other and support each other and learn through each other.. I realized it was right in front of my face all that time! Now we wonder why we didn't get together sooner, but I know it's because neither of us were ready. (or at least I wasn't).

this thread rocks and I hope everyone keeps it going...

I am working on manifesting wealth in my life..though I know I really should say I *AM* manifesting wealth in my life instead.

thanks again and I'm going to get one of the books that was suggested here and read it over my winter break. thanks!

Luna,

What a lovely story. Thank you for sharing it.

So many people are into the drama as you say. They expect fireworks and all kinds of silliness yet, what happens when the "fireworks" disappear and life adds its shifts and changes?

I met Bo online. Actually met in person 4 months later. Knew immediately ~ in a very calm way that FINALLY I had met the one for me. He's such a calming, stable influence in my life.

Congratulations! Have a wonder-filled holiday with your hunny.

It is great to hear how you all attract such abundance into your lives! Thank you for your wisdom Revvell! I have been dipping my toes for some months now, in this whole "attracting abundance" but now I've plunged in too! :p I guess the plunge was when I started playing the Prosperity Game (thank you Star for bringing it my way! ;) ) This works for me too! I've been wanting a dehydrator ever since I saw my first raw pizza, and that is quite a while ago! So when playing the game I bought one, two weeks later or so, I had one in my kitchen for real! It happened very fast too! I found a danish website selling dehydrators one night (I thought I had to order one from UK- shipping is pricy, the plug may not fit and so I thought it pretty impossible), the next day I emailed my aunt with my wish list and I added the link for the dehydrator, same afternoon she wrote me and told me I could go ahead and order it, she would bring the money a few days later. Two- three days later I could pick up my dehydrator! Often "how" is not important as how to get dreams fulfilled! To abundance! :p

Congrats on the dehydrator! We'll have to come visit when in Dk. in August. I have no idea where we'll be staying yet, I KNOW I wont be getting all the live food I want/need or the place for prep. Organic oranges should be plentiful by that time though. :D

Here's my story for today. I must say I'm a big fan of Leo Buscaglia who likes to write about love -- not just romantic love but love as a whole! :D I've been in queu for months to get his bestselling book called, "love." I think the library may have lost it, b/c I'm still #3. So I did my usual tour of a used bookstore located in the library, & there it was in the spirituality section of the store! The books aren't organized by title or author...just by category. It was just there. There were so MANY books, but somehow my eyes laid on that one. I got it for .53!

What's everyone's view on debt?

Here's my situation...my husband and I owe a friend $3,000.00 but she doesn't care if we pay here back anytime soon - but for me, I'd like to take care of it sooner rather than later out of respect for her. We also have some small credit card debt and and one student loan to pay back. I'm really swamped when thinking about all this debt and it's starting to get to me with all this abundance thinking.

Should we be putting every extra cent we make into our debt?

Or should we take one debt at a time and put big chunks into it?

Or should we pay off each debt a little at a time each month?

I've already consolidated the student loan. But I feel like paying monthly on that is just throwing money away and not decreasing the debt...basically just paying interest. Does everyone have student loan debt? Isn't that really common? And if I have debt like this will it effect my earning of more money?

I'd appreciate everyone's thoughts on this - I really just want to make our money work for us in the most efficent way.

If we don't pay off our debt - how will that effect our abundance??

Thanks!

Interesting question.

I've never been in debt other than borrowing from my teacher to purchase my car and my first computer. That, I paid off monthly and there was no interest.

The issue I see with loans and credit cards is the interest.

This past year I went to a prosperity workshop and what she said to do was take a certain percentage of your money and pay off a little on each, every month. When one got paid off, then divide that and apply that to the others.

She also said, most people do what you said ~ take every penny they have (extra) to pay off their debt yet, it's not the best way. She said to also start a savings program. Take 5% or so from every amount you get and put it into savings. That way, you'll not only get in the habit of paying off debt but also saving. You'll be achieving a balance. That part makes sense to me because of your concern about creating income. See, of one ONLY focuses on debt (even paying off debt is still focusing on debt), that's what one creates. If one focuses on saving as well, then one will create income and more abundance.

As far as not paying off debt, I think you'll feel poorly about it yourself, no? It is an option albeit not the best.

Consider this ~ whatever you purchased with the credit card, you wanted, yes? You may, in many cases, be still enjoying what you got with it/them.

Oh! Other option ~ take a second job or sell stuff (if you have anything you can sell) and put that towards your debts. Do arts and crafts and sell them at swap meets. Just find other ways of creating income and put most of that money (other than the 5% you're going to save) into paying off your debts. Personally, I think you'll feel better about yourself IF you choose to do it that way. Remember, you always have choices.

Student load debt is VERY common. People get into it not realizing what the interest is going to do to them. Bo told me he borrowed $70,000 for university. By the time he finished paying it off he'd payed over $500,000. Now THAT's a lot of interest.

A friend's experience with the student loan is, everytime he filed his income tax and expected money back the gov't kept it to pay off the loan.

Anyone else gotten themselve out of debt and want to share their personal story?

Final suggestion ~ write a book on the process so you can help others and sell it as an ebook as well as a softcover ~ passive income; also, make it a game. That's all life is anyway. Be play-filled about it. How can you do it? What are your options? Write it out, test it out, git-r-done!

The universe always gives us options and opportunities to learn. It's what we choose to do with them that defines our lives.

Yes, my husband and I had to figure out what we were going to be doing with the extra money I'll be making with this new job dancing. I have the potential to make $300-$800 a week and I really wanted the money to go torwards something good for us. I consider this extra money because we have been living off one income for almost 3 years now and we are pretty much "comfortable" but not rich yet. So, yes...debt had been on my mind...like you said b/c it makes me feel crummy to have it. So we had a long, uncomfortable discussion about it last night and came to the conclusion that we have to pay off the debts that have interest first: student loan and credit cards, then friend's debt. We decided to take each pay check and divide it by 3...if I get a $300 check...$100 goes to each: savings, debt and myself for personal things. I think this works out good and motivates me to work harder to make as much money as I can. My husband has agreed to do the same with his income so we're both knocking out debt and also saving.

Taking the money that comes back from taxes and throwing it at debt is a great idea for some but we always OWE taxes every year and have to save for that as well.We own our own business so we have to manage our own taxes but the plus side to that is we write off almost everything we buy accept food.

Thanks for your suggestions. I'm going to copy and paste your reply and email it to my hubby so he can read it too.

Debt has always been so hard for me to talk about but I'm glad we did because ignoring it is not an option any more. (Well, I'm the one that ignores it...) My husband has been doing a very good job handling our debt and paying way more then the minimal amount every month. I'm very fortunate that he's good with dealing with finances because sometimes, I can get so overwhelmed by it all. I'm working on that though...I realize that I should be able to handle these kinds of things on my own to be a whole woman.

I've been reading The Secret of a Millionaire Mind and I am really blown away by all the things I got "programmed" about money by simply watching and being raised by my mother. I was tought that only men have money, subconciously. And through my whole life men have taken care of me. Luckily, I've had great experiences and have never been taken for granted or abused. But I see how this can put me in a bad situation for myself as an individual. I should make my own money and be able to stand on my own two feet without a man's help. So I am aware of this pattern now, and completely shocked at how I created this in my life over, and over and over. It's amazing how the mind rules you if you aren't aware of what's happening. So...a fresh start for me is blossoming. I think this new job is the beginning.

Hi Konmai... loved your experience with the book! Good energy and attraction! Yea You! And, Leo Buscalgia is a favorite of mine too. I once saw an interview with him, where he said he liked to hug lots of people... that strangers were just friends he hadn't met yet. He is a great teacher of love!

Hi Jen Rose... that was a great question and what Revvel shared is wise and helpful!
I'm so glad you're enjoying the prosperity game... I am too.

I was thinking about your question... it also, may be helpful to 'see' your debts and student loan paid off now. To imagine or visualize everything paid and 'seeing' yourself with extra money in the bank. One of the things that has helped me, in attracting more and more good into my life... is to realize that I don't have to 'know' how things will happen... for them to come into my life. The more you 'feel' abundant and debt free... the more you will be.

Perhaps it is like the simple wisdom... what we focus on... we create more of in our lives.

It can be valuable to think, feel, and hold abundant beliefs about your life... abundance attracts abundance... lack attracts lack... in the simple wisdom that like attracts like into our lives.

It surprises me, how many of us have some lack thinking and barely notice it. A few months ago, when the gas prices were especially high, I caught myself having negative thoughts while filling up my vehicle. In that moment, I realized that 'kind of thinking' was all about lack and not having... and would only attract more of the same into my life. I quickly changed and began to affirm in positive belief... that I have unlimited abundance no matter what the prices are for anything. That, is the reality I choose to attract and create in my life. I realized then, that I need to nurture my positive abundant thoughts and feelings on a daily basis.

I've been paying close attention to my thoughts and emotions about everything... and getting rid of limiting thinking, emotions, and beliefs. It's amazing all the good I'm attracting into my life! Any thoughts of 'can't' or 'too expensive' or any thought that isn't what I want... or choose to be in my life... I get rid of it. Instead, I affirm and think about what I do want... and how I want to feel... lots of good positive energy!

I'll share more later about some things that I've already attracted into my life doing this.
Even though, I believe in all of this... it still amazes me! :D

Hi Jen Rose... Hope you had great holidays! It is amazing... the positive attraction/manifestation that each of us can do in our lives! I love this thread that Revvell started for us to share our experiences... :p

Here is one that happened to me this week! Briefly, I am on the computer quite a bit with some grad programs I'm in. Anyway, I use a laptop and the one I have right now has been breaking... keyboard and more. I wasn't sure how I could afford to replace it right now. But, since we don't know 'how' things will happen... to 'attract' them into our lives... I began to focus on 'seeing' myself with a different laptop that would work great for me.

I didn't share this with anyone... just focused on it, affirmed it with positive unlimited feelings and thoughts.

Out of the blue, my Dad had a friend suggest that a different computer would be great for him. He checked it out and bought one while he was visiting me, this last week. He took me to that computer store to pick up his new computer. It was a fluke I was able to go, but a meeting of mine canceled that day. On the way there... my Dad mentioned that he was thinking of how great it would be for me to have that kind of computer too.

He didn't know my laptop wasn't that great... it's only two years old. Just not a good one. Yet, he kept having the 'thought' to get this other one for me. I will admit that I was reluctant to have him do that for me... we sometimes need to be more open and receptive (feel worthy) to receive incredible good... into our lives. Anyway, he convinced me of the joy he feels doing things for me. Thanks Dad!

Now I have a new computer, that is already saving me time and doing so much more than what I had! What a difference...

And, it all started with my 'focus' on having a different laptop. Simply that. The power of attraction is amazing!

Here's to an abundantly joyful day for us all! :D

AND being open to receiving as you say! Without that you'd be saying "no dad" and not having it. Congratulations!!!!!

My receptivity is in allowing myself to learn how to use my computer more effectively. I tend to get irritable and annoyed when I can't learn stuff and sometimes, since He knows this stuff and it's easy for him he bypasses steps. So, getting irritated and impatient really helps the learning process I'm sure. LOL

Anyway, He purchased a book for me on blogging and podcasting so I can create a blog and take all my radio shows and put them on the blog AND send them to iTunes as podcasts. I be happening!!!! I'm also learning to take sections of the shows and turn them into cd's. (uh huh! I AM! REALLY!)

Oh! Received the first printed copy of my new book this morning!!! Y'all REALLY have to write a book if you are in business for yourself; if you're really good at something and can present it in an entertaining way or, just cuz. You want to feel abundant? It's an amazing feeling to have something YOU wrote published and sent out to the universe. I wish I'd have asked Alissa how she felt when she'd finally finished that tome she wrote. Must have been an amazing natural high ~ somewhat similar to having a baby, I'd imagine.

This all has to do with abundance. It's not just the physical. It has to do with how one is feeling every day; one's vibrations; what one reads; who we listen to; etc. It's all good.

Congrats again on your new computer. Your vibrations where in aligment with your communication partners (your dad externally and your universe internally). Incredible, isn't it? :)

Thank you for sharing your joy Star.

Well said, Revvell! My internal focus 'matched' this actually happening eternally!

Just to add, no one knew I was having problems with my other computer. I hadn't mentioned it. Also, this wasn't a Christmas present from my Dad... he already had gifts for me.

It was unlikely he would change the computers in his office. He had a fairly set idea about what was good... before his friend suggested, that he check out a different kind of computer (right before he visited me).

Also to share... how I changed my focus. At first, I was feeling negative when I would get on my laptop with the cracked keyboard etc. Then, it occured to me that my 'reacting' that way was 'attracting' more of the same. (With the simple wisdom... that like attracts like.)

So, instead... I started to 'see' myself with a laptop that worked great. I continued to have good thoughts and feelings... everytime I used the one I had. Within in a couple of weeks, my Dad received the call from his friend and you know what happened!

And yes, it seems as we focus to 'attract' good things into our lives... it's important to realize and 'feel' that we ARE worthy... of such amazing good lives!

I would love a hard copy of your new book! I'll email you...

WISHING EVERYONE A POSITIVE ATTRACTION DAY! :D

That is a great story Star...thanks for sharing!

And Revvell...you deserve every dollar you get and MORE! It's been one of my dreams to write a book one day. I'm just not sure what subject yet...I always thought of doing a autobiography later in life but I'd love to do something now...I have plenty of ideas I just need to decide on one. Hmm..I'll sit with that a moment and see what comes up...Thanks for reminding me!!

So I woke up yesterday morning and got 2 checks in the mail! Then this morning my husband woke me up with breakfast in bed - fruit salad YUM! I love it when my mornings are extra special~

I got some great dresses on sale that I had been envisioning AND matching shoes! Love it!

A friend mentioned to me that I should join A.F.T.R.A, a Union for vocalist so I could get more jobs doing background vocals, etc. for studios around town...I'm already invisioning all the money coming in from doing that! it's a great idea!

I've been noticing the ideas that random people give me and have been working on taking them with gratitude and acting on them right away. It's amazing what direction you hear from the Universe when you keep your ears open for it.

I've noticed too, how much people complain around me! I just watched the Secret and the book I'm reading said the same thing...(synchronicity?) so it's one of my New Year's resolutions to NOT COMPLAIN ABOUT ANYTHING EVER!! I am not a crap magnet and instead I'll be putting out loving thoughts of ABUNDANCE and GRATITUDE for everything I have~~Just changing this one thing this week has changed my whole mindset! And Star, it sounds like you did just that when your computer was acting up. Great job!! And you attracted it FAST too!! Wow!

This thread is such an inspiration! I'm glad all you ladies are attracting your desires. If it's for your highest good, there is nothing in this world you shouldn't have...

Oh, and P.S....the Secret is in audiobook form on itunes. I just bought it.

You're welcome! Here's a thought... IF you like writing ~ use a yellow pad for each new idea and just start. If you'd rather use the computer, start a few blogs, see which makes your heart sing most and focus on that. Whatever you do, make sure you write down ALL your ideas so they don't go the way of the white clouds.

Wow Jen Rose... you're rawkin' it! Like Revvell said... great awareness and attraction! I join you in keeping the focus positive!
Exciting about the vocals... You go girl!

I was talking with a dear friend last night... I asked her, what she wants... after she shared some concerns about her life. I was so excited when she went for it... talking about what she does want... it was a run away train in positivity! :p

It seems that many of us can have some 'undefined' idea of happiness without really thinking about or 'knowing' what we want in our lives. Also, it is so easy to rush past life in a day... and miss the small, bright moments of joy.

The gratitude list writing... has helped me to savor the present joys and to notice them.
Asking myself what I want... on a consistent basis has helped me to discover what I do want.
It's empowering...

Revvell... loved the quote from T. Harv Ecker... gave me even deeper insight to gratitude!
Your book is going to empower so many! Count me on the list... I'm excited for my copy!

I'm lovin' this thread! *goes off to do the happy dance*

I just had a great moment... I was thinking about a non-profit program I want to put together... to help and inspire foster kids.
I focused with positive intent... and how to do the first part of it... and what to call it... just 'came' to me!

Like artists, musicians, writers... any of us... divine 'sparks of inspiration' can just come... so perfect, so placed!
This is one of my favorite kinds of abundance and connection... love it!

Here's to all the infinite possibilities within each and all of us... ready to take form in many magical and miraculous ways!
The more positive we are... the more we are open to the infinite good... so ready to be expressed by each of us!

An inspired day to all! :D

This is soooo true! My "sparks" usually come when I'm in the shower, out for a walk or first thing in the a.m. The last one was my latest book. Was out at Anza and just got that "spark of inspiration". Had to run inside, get on my computer and write it out. A few weeks later and voila!

Star,

What you just said is soo true! I was speaking with my coach about issues with the radio station and she told me I was way different than she thought. She had thought of me as some raw-food eating hippie chick who didn't have a brain in her head and she's finding out that I am quite astute where she's lacking. (she actually said this)

Part of her problem (and that of many others) is their lack of clear communication and that is where people don't receive what they want. They don't let the universe ~ or their physical communication partners ~ know EXACTLY what they want ~ oftentimes because they're not clear themselves... therefore how can they communicate clearly.

I was chatting with Bo about this and he expanded further saying "this would be a GREAT seminar for you (me) to do with business people" (since we were talking business at the time). I told him that clear communication should be across the board.... in EVERY type of relationship... physical, mental, spiritual.

As Reverand Ike says: "Be definite with the infinite".

Have a wondrous evening ~

Revvell the thing that didn't come to fruition was my cholesterol results. I got a cholesterol monitor on e-bay and right before I tested I saw your thread here and decided to claim it to be under 250, which didn't happen. I posted the results on the December Rawkin' 90's challenge journal if you want to read about it.

I think creating abundance is also about making the best of what you have. What I have is genetic and I have to make the best of it which is what I'm doing.

Thanks for the link.

Hiya. I have just read this and wanted to relay an experience of mine. A very long time ago I was in pretty bad physical shape and my partner as well as my mother were/are both diabetic. One day I checked my own sugar with my partner's equipment. It was over 300. I was stunned and dismayed. Next day, same thing, and the next again, same thing, and I kept checking and it kept saying the same thing and worse. I got very angry. It was, in retrospect, quite an irrational reaction on my part. I declared vehemently out loud that I would NOT be a diabetic, I simply would NOT, and it could go and #$@%@%. And all through the day I repeated this, and day after day I repeated it. I refused, positively refused to change my diet at that time because I was determined to NOT BE diabetic on MY terms.

A few days later I checked my sugar, it was in the 90s. Again and again I checked my sugar, still in the 80s and 90s. And has remained so. I was 100 lbs overweight at that time and my only beverage was a fountain coke from 7-11 or a fast food joint. I ate primarily at fast food places and never cooked. There is no way that my sugar should have gone down, but it did. Intent is so very powerful, and belief is even more so. I didn't know any metaphysical stuff then, I was just darned sure I was not going to be like my mother or my b/f...and I was livid that fate seemed to be putting me there and I simply refused it with all the vehemence I had. And I believed it when I said it for some strange reason, and did not think for one minute that I wouldn't get my way. (heh heh, I am simply awful about demanding and getting my own way..) And something changed. I don't know how or what, but my main point is don't give up. Expand your belief in your wellness instead of constricting it. It may take more time for you, but it may also make more difference than you can imagine. Hope I'm not out of line here...

Blessings to you.

edit: Oh my goodness! I have just noticed that your post was from over 1 year ago! Mea culpa... I am usually fashionably late to the party...but this was definitely not in the realm of fashionable, lol. Take care.

Wow...I had the best day. :)

My dance audition went SO great!! I just put out there that it would be fun and rewarding and that's exactly what it was. The women I was auditioning for just sat there with a smile on her face the whole time! I was fierce! I send thanks to my body for getting me through that with confidence...also me and my boss talked for hours after and we had a great synergy going....I had to really work on grounding my energy b/c it felt like it was bubbling up and out of me. Also, she told me that my New Year's gig will be $250...100 more than I was expecting! And this is going to be so much fun, it's not going to feel like work at all!

Thanks Rev, for that tip about the pad of paper. I'm going to do just that and really focus on what I want to write about. I can't wait to read your new book!!

I'm really having more respect for my mind lately. I think I've underestimated it for way to long.

I am a powerful women with a strong will who uses her mind to the fullest! I am so blessed to discover this at this time. I really feel that 2007 is going to be MY year. I've helped my husband build his business and it is prospering so now it's my turn to make the money I have been envisioning. How exciting is that? I'm stepping into myself and it feels so GOOD.

When I did my Yoga today, my intention was to RECIEVE MORE...I have always focused on giving and giving but when it come to recieving I have closed up in the past...NO MORE...broke people have issues with recieving...that's why the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. The money has to go somewhere and if a poor person (with a poor mindset) doesn't want to recieve money it will go to someone who is willing to recieve it...money doesn't care who it goes to. It's up to US to WANT it and recieve it with our whole being...so I am working on recieving everything I am WORTH and more!~I deserve to live lavishly. I deserve all these things and goals I want to achieve. So, now the Universe knows what I want...now I'm sitting back waiting to recieve it....Thanks.

IF you are sincere about abundance and you are not playing the Prosperity Game I highly suggest it: http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?p=223050&posted=1#post223050.

The reason I suggest it is, people WANT money without looking ahead. They receive it and don't know what to do with it so they SPEND it rather than circulate it.

This year I received a relatively small inheritance. I knew it was coming in and thought I'd planned well on what to do with it. Nope! IF I had just gone with my inclinations, it would ALL be gone by now. As it is, I just went to some seminars (investing in myself) and a new car. I still have almost 50% of what I'd received collecting interest until I find a better investment opportunity.

During one of my teleclasses I asked each person what they would do if they received $50,000. One person would have spent 3-4 times that. Others really didn't know what they would spend or circulate it on.

The Prosperity Game does have it's limitations. One has to spend the whole check. I'm not sure why they say to do that. I'm up to day 10 and have circulated (not "spent") every check. As these checks get bigger, I'm going to put a certain amount away, circulate some and invest some. This goes against the rules yet, I'm not much of a rule follower anyway.

The reason I suggest playing this game though is because it is SO fun to see checks in one's name. It's so fun to think about what one REALLY wants to do with the cash. Things we'd never have considered previously or thought we could have. It changes the mindset ~ frees up the creative process as well.

Have fun!

This is such a GREAT awarness. Wallage Wattles speaks of that in his book "The Science of Getting Rich". He speaks of not focusing on the poor just as you say here. I know a lot of people will take issue with this yet, until someone is open to receiving, they wont. It's that simple.

AND you are going to have the BEST year EVER!!!!

Good news here!

When Bo left his company in Denmark to move here he signed a two year contract with the company. They honored the first year which ended this past March. Since then, they've ignored this year's payments.

A few weeks ago he was having a conversation with his former boss (who created the contract to help Bo get situated here ~ then retired from the biz himself) and Bo told him he'd not been paid this year. His former boss went and had a conversation with the powers that be. Today Bo received a VERY nice amount credited to his account. He'll receive about 5 more of those amounts until he's paid up. Happy new year!!!!

YAY! What great abundant news! :D

Here's to an amazing, creative, prosperous year for You and Bo... 2007!

I've put out there that I was GOING to Vegas for business the week of the 6th...now the business part of the trip has been cancelled. I figured I wouldn't let that deter me from going...I could still promote my music and see an old, dear friend of mine. Now...I check for flight tickets, finally have the money in hand to buy it and the prices have DOUBLED. I checked 2 days ago and the prices were only $350 and now they are over $600...so I thought about delaying my trip to the end of Feb. to get a better deal on tickets....now my husband is saying "he isn't feeling it" and because the business part canceled that I should forget all about it. I really want to see my friend but he IS coming here for a week at the end of January. I really just wanted to get away for awhile to clear my head and go on an adventure by myself....I don't know if what I'm feeling is me just wanting to go or if I'm going against the tide of the Universe....at this point I can't tell if I'm meant to go or not....or what to do about my husbands reaction to this....but I don't want negative emotions to rule this decision, or take over my actions. I guess I'm just going to hold tight and listen until a positive decision comes from a place of calm ....Any suggestions??

Hiya Jen Rose ....

No guarantee but please email me your info ~ start date, return date, number of people going ~ and how flexible that is. Sometimes one day will make a big difference . Do you need a place to stay as well or just the air?

Hey Jen Rose... it may help to ask yourself what the main 'intent' is for you, with this trip. If it is connections for your music, then focus on 'seeing' yourself making positive connections with that... doors opening with the right people to promote your music. The date of your trip may not be as significant as making the 'right' connections at the 'best' time.

For me, when I've had delays or plans have changed at times... I've often been amazed at 'how' things came together in a 'different way' and even better! I love the sychronicity that occurs... and have often been so grateful that I flowed with it... as it unfolded in the best way for me.

This morning I was thinking about a friend that has often inspired me. She had a business deal falling apart and a lot invested in it. Concerned associates mentioned that it could make or break her at that time. One day we were driving past this development property... she pointed it out and shared more about the situation.

Then, she said something I still appreciate.
She said that there was a solution to the situation... she just hadn't found it yet. She told me that she would find it. That, it's important to focus on the solutions not the problem itself.

It took time (over a year) but, she stayed the positive course and found a solution that was incredible! She is very successful. And, that project helped launch her to a whole new level of success and possibilities.

That was a leap of growth for me too. I learned to shift my 'focus' in my own life... to positive solutions, 'seeing' things how I wanted things to be... and not getting lost in the rest of it. Life changing... :p

I am so ecstatic:

We are going into the NEw YEar with only 2 intrest bearing bills...

Our Home loan and a Student loan.
We're researching intrest free home loan options for a refinance option next year ;).

As I was making some bill payments yesterday by phone I also had $35.00 in payment fees waved just because I was patient enough to sort thru the muck and "hold" for several minutes. Since I'm a priceless stay at home mom that doesn't earn a dime this $35.00 savings was cool!!!

My kiddos are drug free, thriving, brilliant beings and having everyone home this Holiday season has been wonderfilled.

I shared a 1/2 dozen original poems with my daughter 2 nights ago. Which awed her 'cause she didn't know I had this talent. So my now " I'm grown" and I Know everything 19 year old has allowed me to retain my crown as QUEEN BEE of the home, and she's been truely humbled.

So much so that she said, "Man what would you be doing if you didn't have us kids?!?!?!" LOL :D

"I told her shaking my tail feather and LIVING MY LIFE LIKE IT'S GOLDEN, which I'll be doing in to the max in 2007 with kiddos in tow." :D

After playing scrabble with family and friends during Thanksgiving. I spoke aloud about how I wish I had the deluxe scrabble game my grandmother use to have, the kind with the turn table. Well my brothers S.O. got it for me for XMAS along with the "official" Scrabble dictionary. I was and still am ecstatic!!!!

Played two rounds of scrabble with my oldest 3 kiddos this week, learned 3 new words. Taught my 12 year old about a dozen new worlds and built up cool points as MOMMY MOSTEST in the eyes of my kiddos because of the good sportmanship I exhibites while whipping there socks off... by the way in the second game I used all 7 letters in one play. Something I hadn't done in years!!!!

Today I will go to TARGET, 3 of them if I have to. To find a brass mantel piece that says PEACE and holds XMAS stockings. I have every confidence that I will find it or something better, and hopefully items are now 75% so I'm really stoked about the potential savings.

GOING OUT TONIGHT TO SHAKE MY TAIL FEATHER at a hotel that's recently gone 100% smoke free  . Then going out of town tommorow to visit friends, will be staying at a Hotel for a free night in a suite with priority points I earned. There is a fridge in the room so my NEw YEars RAW quest should be a breeze!!!!
:D :)

Hi im new here, and im going to jump right in!

I had to run into Walmart and started using thought process such as, I am surrounded by patient, easy going shoppers.... what happend, everyone around me was non stressed, but way to slow! (my famillly was waiting for me in the car)

So then I started saying, I am surrounded by happy, efficient shoppers, and Away we went! Zipped right along with the other shoppers =)

I got to the cash and was .34 short, the woman (one of my efficient shoppers) sort of lollygagged putting her money away as my products were being rung up... this usually irritates me, but for some reason I was very cool about it, Anyhow, she paid my .34 cents that I was short!

Awesome to see such immediate positive results!

But I'll read all the new posts later and comment when I come back home. Welcome Newbie!

Ok, so star...I've already emailed Rev some of this but this is the most amazing thing and a HUGE SIGN that I am on the right track with this. First off, THANK YOU for your amazing advice and I wrote down that quote so I'll remember it when something like this comes up again.

So last night after posting I took a long walk with my dog to clear my head and get rid of the emotion from not "getting what I want" ...I realized that I was limiting myself by letting my emotions rule me and thinking negatively about the situation....I admitted I was disapointed but said out loud, "The Universe is on my side, and I trust that it knows what's best for me" I LET IT ALL GO with a flood and found my gratitude attitude again!! I was so glad when I felt my energy go back up (this is huge stepping stone for me b/c usually if something bad happens I go on a long emotional negative trip that I have trouble getting out of a.k.a. A funk) So really this neg thinking only lasted maybe 45 min. But I couldn't stand feeling that way...I knew there had to be a better way to solve it. So asking for what I wanted, making it clear, than believe it will happen, and then letting it go....I didn't know HOW it was going to work out...I just belived that it would.

Then when I got home from that walk I saw a post from Revvell saying she could possibly help me with tickets...That really go my spirits up b/c it was like the Universe saying, "Hold on...there might be another way that you haven't been expecting" I went to bed last night with gratitude that all would work out....woke up this morning and read an email from Rev stating prices that were still to high for my budget but I was DELIGHTED that she cared so much to try for me...I felt the love for sure. Then, right when I was thinking that my friend calls from Vegas and we got to talking....I tried to stay positive but he could sense I was bummed about not going. He then got this great idea and told me that he could get me A FREE TICKET from points on his flyermiles credit card...I made sure that he was o.k. with giving it to me...and he was so I glady recieved it!!! He also said that if we wait until the end of Feb that we can take a road trip to L.A. to promote my music and also attend the Jay Leno Show!!! Isn't that crazy fun!!?!?

So my intent with this Vegas trip is this:

I see myself getting music connections in L.V. AND L.A....finding the right people to help UngerRose get booked in Las Vegas and L.A., and also people to help our music get to the next level i.e. manager, booking agents, record labels, promotors. I also leave some of this vision open to things/people/events that as of right now I am not aware of that I need...

I also see myself bonding with my friend and learning more Universal Laws from him and our experiences. Also, I see myself solidifying what I've learned with the Law of Attraction and using it through out my whole trip to make miracles happen while I am on the road. I see this trip being a moment to remember and look back on fondly.

So thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I am a money magnet!!!
I'll write more later.

xoxoxo

Yea Jen Rose... I'm so excited for you! Great you are 'attracting' in such good energy and that you have a clear view of your 'intent' for your trip. What a powerful shift... you made from disappointment to focusing on your situation so positively! Many of us, could benefit from doing that in the face of disappointment. You're rawkin' it!

BTW... your gratitude lists are so good and fun to read! From all you write, I know there are such beautiful feelings and messages, that you could share in your music. Here's to a blossoming music career with positive, joyful impact for all who hear your music... and with great connections, abundance, and fun experiences for you on this path! :D

This morning I was thinking about change. I can recall how often I used to resist change. Was it fear or uncertainty of the unknown? I noticed that sometimes I just held on to where I was instead of letting go... even if I didn't love where I was. I've noticed this tendency in others as well. It seems many of us have resisted change.

I remember watching clouds in the sky... as they formed and changed into different shapes with such ease. (Nature can be such a teacher in the wisdoms of life.) I began to see my life experiences like the clouds... shifting forms throughout a day, month, year and beyond... just moments that I could experience and then 'let go' of... without being so 'attached' to my past. I began to see that life in some ways... was a 'trying on' of varied life experiences, emotions, choices. And, that each new day... via a beautiful sunrise... was another fresh canvas to experience life on.

Since then, I've learned to embrace change... with joy rather than fear... for all of the limitless possibilities open to me. I can 'attract' a variety of life experiences, changing like the clouds. I love the freedom and infinite good that's possible... for each and all of us. And now,
I love change... it's such a gift to life.

A Positive, Abundant New Year To All... Happy 2007!

True that! :)

Most of us have which is why we are where we are... yet, once we embrace it .... whoaaaaaa!!! What a RIDE! Fun, isn't it?

For me, at one time, I didn't know I "could" have the good others have. My teacher use to tell us "I know you say it's easy for me, yet, it's easy for all of you. You just have to know that". Well, once I made the decision to use all my negative energy for healing and joy, it WAS easy. Easier than being sad, angry and fearful which takes a lot MORE energy. Another thing he use to say is: "Even if I tell you the secret, you wont know the secret because you're not ready to hear it". I had NO idea what he's talking about yet, I do now. How many people read this thread? How many are still say to themselves: "Well, it's easy for you"... or, "That doesn't work for me". They all have the secret yet, are afraid... I was.

One of my outcomes this year is to see LOTS of others joining this thread in 2007. Actually, I'm going to ask the mods to Lock this one and let's start fresh in '07. Anybody with me on this????
