3 posts in a row, I am on a roll this morning.
Revvell, the lessons that I learned from the disappearing romeo are:
First lesson: When the dude was going on and on about what we can do this summer and the way that we met, my antenna went up. This was the sign of someone who promises alot in the beginning without even getting to know a person and then can't deliver. He may become Casper the ghost!!
It is normal when trying to get to know someone, to talk about the past for a few, just a few. I have been divorced for 5 years and the way that I was divorced was hard, but with therapy and self love, I am a better person. Looking back I can see the positive and negative in the marriage. I have moved on and I am looking forward to what the universe has in store for me with love. This guy has been divorced for 3 years. I found the conversations evolving around his ex and what happened and how upset he was for losing money in the divorce. Not a great discussion when trying to start a new relationship. Even when I changed the subject he related the subject to his divorce and ex-wife. Funny thing is her name is Cheryl too. Yikes.
Second lesson: he is still in pain and needs to process that before any type of relationship and with a professional who can help him get over the hump. I am not equipped to do that and this would not have been fair to me.
Third lesson: I have taken this in stride, more fish in the ocean and like you said Revvell, his is a stepping stone to my real love.
Peace.

LOL, LOL, Silly me. I thought that I had the T. Harv tape and looked and looked.
I have a card I can send which I think will get you in. Doesn't cost me anything but a postage stamp to send it. A friend did sign up and if you want to get in for free (other than lodging/food, etc), you do have to sign up before July 1.

Oh my, this brought up someone I'd gone out with when I first started dating again after not having done so for over 8 years. We met at a festival where I was doing bodywork. He called that evening and said he'd felt such a connection ~ our breaths moving together in rhythm while I worked, etc. that he'd like to take me out to dinner. I declined as I'd not been dating. He said: well, it's my birthday and in my family, it's tradition to take someone else out for dinner on our b-day. O.k., I knew this was bs yet, it was rather sweet. Anyway, I think he called two more times before I finally agreed. So, he picks me up in this ratty car where the door has to be tied shut with a rope. He takes me to a very elegant Egyptian restaurant where you have to pay the dancer to dance at your booth. He did that. Total bill ~ $100. Now, for $100 he most likely could have fixed the door on his car. Thing is, he's just blown most of his money for the week. We did have a great time. From then on, we went to Chinese restaurants (I was vegetarian, not raw) OR he brought stuff over ~ stuff I USE to eat during transition ~ not what I was currently eating. The problem with that was, not being high in self-esteem, I'd eat it ~ white bread, cheese, Hansen's soda ~ not wanting to hurt his feelings. We split 2 weeks later and it took me 2 months to recover from the effects of the food I'd been eating ~ plus all my emotions. I was soooo toxic. Good lesson though. Take care of ME!!!! AND Find someone else who cared enough about me to support me in my food choices.

Got it Cheryl. Card is on it's way. Please delete your post. :)
The card is confusing though. Says use the reference # when you register for the seminare but also need to get the book. Try the card w/ the # on it first. If that doesn't work, gotta get the book methinks.

Thought for today:
Embrace Responsibility ~ This was an abundance card which came up for me today. It says something to the effect that rich people are willing to take on big responsibilities which is why they are rich.
When I read "big responsibility" it sounds scary yet, as I have embraced responsibility more and more over the last 20+ years, I've found it gives me freedom.
Consider this ~ we are all responsible for our food choices. We might blame others for why we can't/don't stay raw yet, in the end, it's our responsibility.
We are all responsible for our financial situation. What have we done or not done to be in the situation we are in? If it's not ideal, what can we do differently?
In relationships, we are also responsible for those. Since we can't change the other, then, who can we change?
If/when we blame outside circumstances for our present conditions, we'll never create what we say we want.

Revvell,
I have been running around most of the day, with worry and stress. I read your post (today's thoughts) and I am going to relax, watch a good movie and just let go. I have unplugged the home phone, work phone is on mute and my cell is off.
I find that when I do this stressing to the max, it is like the universe is pushing back at me. Like a force of wills. I am a controlling person with events. I want them to go in a certain order and at a certain time or else!! LOL, not good. I stepped back and released. I was going to start my "at home work " last Tues, but was in an accident and then today, but completely stressed out with phone calls and decisions etc.... So I will start on Monday. I will not take phone calls most of the day about the car but will set aside an hour to take and make calls. That goes for the rest of the week. My mind, heart and body became someone elses and I jumped and ran to their beat (insurance agents, adjuster etc) until I was completely out of my mind with stress. This is ME time. I found myself not taking care of myself. Not eating well, not sleeping, not exercising etc..... getting worked up and snapping over nothing.
Put the DVD in and let the movie begin. And Revvell thank you for the card that's in the mail. Many blessings!!!!

Hi rawdiva,
Yes, we always need to take time for ourselves. What many don't understand, when creating abundance, one needs to pay oneself first. Same thing with the challenges you are currently facing. You are doing exactly the right thing. Take time for you ~ whatever assists in relaxing ~ good food, a good movie (maybe one that will help you cry?); out for a walk ~ something where the thoughts stop and awareness may enter. As part of the universe, the answers are in you, you just need to take time out and listen.
It's interesting how you've got some time between work and you've somehow created stuff to keep you occupied. Interesting creatures we are, aren't we? Consider this ~ leaving your known work threw you out of your comfort level. You've reached an upper limit so created havoc (auto accident) and occupation (almost/sorta boyfriend).
Take a few breaths, a warm bath, nuture and nourish yourself today. Tomorrow is still a business day and if it doesn't come; no worries, eh? :)
If it does come, no worries anyway. Just do what needs to be done. It'll all work out ~ it always does.
BTW ~ I didn't want to interfere in your "prayer" thread so I'll throw in this as an aside. For me, to "pray" means to give thanks. Most people confuse the word "pray" with "beg". To me, it's thanking the universe for all it's abundance. No other animal on earth feels the need to pray except humans and only because they have the capacity to create something in their minds which will give them comfort. What I have found through the work I do with myself and others is once I became grounded on this earth; once I became comfortable with who I am in my own bag of bones and flesh, my whole world changed. As you know, I do appreciations daily. Is that "TO" anyone? No. It just is where I put my focus and what one focus on expands.
May you find peace today,
Revvell

Revvell,
I find this quite amazing. I was trying to understand how I might have manifested an accident and at a time that I was to start work. I was wondering, do I welcome chaos in my life to keep things going and alive and is chaos a part of myself that I have become accustomed. I did feel a void when I left my position and the funny thing about that is, I never had an accident in the two years going to and from work. Please explain "You reached an upper limit" in relation to this situation. I am trying to process that but not sure as to what you are talking about.

You've pretty much hit it on the head. Most people create some kind of drama in their lives when there is fear about something that they are doing ~ making any changes. It's totally unconscious until they become conscious of it. In my playshops/teleclasses I share what I call "SPACE" (acronym) w/ participants. "A" stands for "Align your desires with those of your inner/outer communication partners". What that means is ~ you have to align your monkey mind and all it's little voices with what you are doing. If not, it will find a way to sabatoge you ~ bring you back to where it is comfortable. Leaving a job and "security" is NOT comfortable. The mind's job is to avoid change. The consciousness's job is to keep moving towards evolution. Sometimes (often) there's a conflict.
Peace and the movie was wonderful.

I spoke with a friend today via email that I attended Alissa's 5 day class with a couple weeks ago. We were discussing strategies for class and she mentioned that she was doing Revvell's tele classes. How ironic, I said.....Earlier in the week I started reading this thread because abundance was one of the lessons in Alissa's class that I enjoyed. I loved the ideas of visualization you presented and decided to try them......I havent worked since losing my job and home in Hurricane Katrina and have been working at getting some raw food classes started. I was getting low on funds and decided that I might have to get a job until I get some classes although I really need the free time to get them going.......I wrote fema a letter to see if there was any help still available since the storm and was awaiting an answer. I decided to try visualizing this help coming to me and also giving out my abundance as well to receive abundance. Yesterday morning I decided to check with fema to see if there was any news. I put a big smile on my face and a had a very positive frame of mind and voila.....2300$ just enough to get me by. Now I can work on getting those class started. My friend said I had to write you and let you know....so I did. How wonderful this new life I have found is....Thank You!!!

hi everyone! i just caught up on all your posts. i left my job, so do not sit in front of a computer all day anymore. i am in france now, yay, so there is a computer here - i am happy to be back.
i feel like i am speaking another language because the keyboard is different hre i type so slow...
revell - i am glad t harv was amazing. thank you for sharing your quotes. i have triied to sign up many times, 1st couldn't figure out the website, and i played phone tag with them for a while before i came here. so do you know how i sign up before july 1?
happy manifesting everyone. i learned a lot from reading your posts,
so now i will practice relating instead of focusing on my relationship -- that's a good one. also how t harv says we choose our thoughts so ,ay as well make them self empowering... so true!
also i have been pretty cooked the past 2 days, arriving in france and all, but i cannot blame bf, tho that would be easy to do. he is open to trying the raw thing with me, i spent all day getting recipes and we go to the market tomorrow...he wants to do "french raw" which he says includes bread!! ha ha i told him he can do whatever he wants of course, but that that would be a different thing. still good tho.

Shakti!!!! Hiiiiii!!!!!
France is on MY list to go again! Bo has friends in South of France (is that different than South France???) lol
Go here and register your book: https://www.peakpotentials.com/order.html That "should" get you in. You've got the book with you, yes? There's numbers in it you have to register.
So, is the food that is sold in France also grown there? Even though they grow food in Denmark, most of what we purchased was imported therefore major bucks. Nice to be able to afford it though.
Sooo cool that your bf is supporting you. Yeah the bread thing I think is a European thing. Big for Bo as well. Gotta have bread. :(
Stay in touch and let us know how the classes go. You have a blender and food processor?

More fun abundance ~ I introduced someone to a crafting book club and for doing so I receive a free book! How fun is that? Also, someone from here gave a friend a gift to my teleclass series. (thank you, thank you, thank you to both of you.)
Lots more good stuff happening yet, it's SUCH a lovely day I need to get out and play in the universal abundance. :)

I just finished my first Level 1 class and the woman who hosted it wants to continue having it at her house for a while. This is really great because I was having a hard time finding inexpensive places to host it. She is also helping me set up my financial system for the classes. Jeannie, it is really cool that we are both experiencing what it is like to have people come into our lives to help us when we need help. I'm so happy too that you, Revvell, came into my life because you have helped me move towards my dreams with your wisdom and support.
Jen, I'm so happy too about the money that you manifested to give you the freedom to continue to work towards your dreams.
Shakti, I'm so happy to hear from you again. I'm glad things are going well in France. It is also great that your bf is supportive. Looking forward to hearing more about your adventures in France.
Revvell, I'm glad you got your free book. Thank you again for everything! I really do appreciate you.

I went to another Abundance class yesterday a.m. Mildly interesting. More, to me, of just getting into a meditative state and opening up to awareness which I find in walking, showering, etc. Anyway, what I got from it is that I need to separate my classes ~ one specifically for wealth ~ assisting in finding ones dreams and how to manifest them and the other specifically for health ~ people who are chronically manifesting "colds" or other ilnesses and for weight transformation; staying on food programs, etc. That was a GREAT awareness.
The other thing I did yesterday was go to the beach with Bo. We went specifically to watch the hula hoopers. I got one awhile back and not been using it much ~ wanted to see what others were doing with them. Well, found that people can get REALLY creative with them.
So! Here's a freebie ~ one more thing for folk wishing to create more income ~ learn to hoop and make/sell hoops and hold classes teaching others AND/or, teach people how to make them. Charge for the class and charge for the materials.

Hi Revvell,
I'm a recent graduate of Alissa's recent 5 day course. I am interested in your abundance telecasts. Can you tell me how I can join up?
I have been doing abundance meditations for a long time but feel very stuck right now. First I will get note book and start writing out a goal. Currently my goal has been health, but I feel ready to expand this into living fully with health. I think there is a FEAR block for me. I'll do some more meditating on this and continue to journal.
Thank you for your generosity. I believe people who have received abundance are beacons of generous light - and you are!
With gratitude for YOU,

Hi Revvell, I like the idea of the jewelry making club. That sounds like a great idea. I got my catalog for ordering today. Yah! The hula hoop idea is good too. I have a LONG way to go to be able to teach anyone how to do it. My students in my class could do it better than I could. But maybe it's time to try again. And I never thought about making them.
Glad to see you on this thread, Rawsome Rosie. I look forward to talking to you on the teleclasses, too. BTW, I ended up having a combination lymph drainage massage and craniosacral today for my step 4. We combined it because I fell last week and had been having headaches. I felt great when I got out.

You can learn how to make them VERY easily, then teach others. It might take a little bit of playing w/ tubing and tape yet, less trial and error than making candles and beading methinks. I'll let you know. lol Lots of tutorials online. Oh! I found a site where they put LED's inside so when one hoops at night it's all lit and pretty. :)
Good for you on the lymph drainage and massage!!! More abundance!

Cool! Please let me know if the cards work or one still has to purchase the book. I want to know if it's worth sending out the cards.
Abundance for me ~ A bodywork client emailed yesterday. She was coming at least once a month for herself and her 4-year old daughter and I'd not heard from her since before we moved. She set up an appointment for today. Yayyyyyy!!!!
Yesterday a friend wore some earrings I made for her b-day and she received numerous compliments. Passed them on to me. (Abundance comes in MANY forms).
LOTS of exciting things happening and you know all it took? Making a decision many years ago to put any energy I was using to complain to create a life of joy and bliss. Since then, I've found my life's work, my wonderfully supportive husband and my health.
Enjoy a wonder-filled, prosperous day ~

Be Bigger Than any Problems
This actually was my card for today. After reading it, I started thinking about people on this forum (and all forums I've been on, actually.) I understand it's for support yet, I see people continuously creating one drama after another. How is that? One thing I learned during 16 years of therapy ~ if one takes the current issue and works their way back, they can hear what they've said to themselves and/or what they've done to create many of their issues. They can also see what they are focusing on ~ and it's not light, life and love. Does this make sense?
Yes, occasionally stuff happens yet, how is it I don't see it happening for me? Maybe it's because I view my world and what happens in it differently? How do I do that? Well, one way is to not "try" and change what can't be changed. I taught Bo this (often to my despair ;) ) ~ "It is what it is".
What that means is to accept what something is and move on. For instance I'd purchased a van for Bo before he came out here so he'd have a car (his money). Almost a year after purchasing it, it was declared a "salvage". What the heck? It runs fine, no visible damage, etc. So, we went to DMV and a very nice gent explained to us that the cost of the damage was more than the worth of the vehicle and with the labor costs it wouldn't take much AND the insurance company "should" have declared it before we purchased. Well, it was a pita because we had to deal with Sacramento; get the vehicle re-smogged, etc. There wasn't anything we could do to change this so, just did it. It was, what it was. Somethings one can change yet, look at what would be involved ~ time, money, emotions.
I once had two clients involved in lawsuits. I told them both to drop them as they were for general principle only (teaching someone else a lesson ~ NOT for the money specifically). One did and called me to thank me because she felt this great weight lifted from her shoulders. The other didn't. Don't know what happened there.
The thing is, stop complicating your lives! It's not just the "big" things (which were often small until they got our focus); it's often the little things ~ how do I eat? Do I eat protein foods on one day and starches on another? sheesh! Eat food! Make it raw and have fun!!! Focus on joy! Focus on what feels good! Focus on creating abundance in every aspect of life and see how it feels to be able to spread that abundance to everyone around you you feel to.
That's one of the biggest joys of having abundance. Think about all the people you can help when you have excess money. The people in the northeast are being flooded and may need your help. Do you have the money to help them? wouldn't you like to? Isn't that more fun than figuring out what to eat when or some other piddly thing you are focused on? Do you know life was not meant to be a struggle but meant to be lived and celebrated?
Remember ~ what you focus on expands. Eat well, live well, create and share your wealth.
Injoy ~

My most recent abundance experiences:
I just did an out of state move all the way down to Miami Beach, FL. We hit a bunch of snags on the way down including major thunder storms, power outages, leaks in the moving truck, and a picky landlord threatening to keep our deposit. During this stressful time I felt like I was in the twilight zone or something, I was stretched so much that everything felt surreal. I tried to focus on the postive in every situtuation and take responsibilty for what I could do personally to help each problem get resolved. I worked my butt off.
We ended up playing more when the lights went out (flashlight checkers!) we duck taped the leaks, and managed to get all of our deposit back minus $150...($1,000) which is great! Also, when we finally got to our destination (safely, thank God!) we found our new house completely clean with a bunch of fabulous stuff left behind. A big screen t.v., two plush couches, iron/glass coffee and end tables, bedroom furniture, a king size bed, an armoire, and so much more! We ended up going through most of the stuff that we brought and were able to sort out old and raggedy furniture and kitchen stuff. (We had already done this once before leaving and doing it again here was so freeing!!)
Clear out the old to make way for the new.
Another thing I love is that our front and back yard are a forest of tropical plants to play with. It's also been raining here alot so the grass is healthy and green. :)
The moving truck ended up being way less than expected. We still have an abundance of money in the bank. We are intensely inspired by the newness of our surroundings and can't wait to see what's in store for our future here!
Time to add to my goal/abundance/gratitude lists.....
Peace,
J.R.

Hello, Good morning!!!
I finally bought the Millionaire Mind book and so happy that I did. Amazing is all I can say so far. Signed up for November intensive in the ATL (Revvell it worked, blessings).
I also bought a MP3 player to replace my CD player complete with a belt. LOL. I love it so far but I have to really learn how to use it. I am recording stuff that I am wondering why, now to erase it. LOL. I'll be a pro at this soon. I love this challenge.
Wonderful, JR on your adventure to Miami. Love it there!! The Universe is great!!!

You did it with just using the card and not having to purchase the book if you'd not wanted to? It's a truly great book. I do advise people to get it for more reasons than the tickets. What goes on in the intensives intensifies what's in the book. I'd recommend reading it about 3 times before going. It keeps one focused on abundance in all aspects.
We had fun yesterday. There's a park fairly local to us where they have kayaking. In order to use the kayaks we had to take a 10 minute swim test ~ wearing long pants and t-shirts. First we had to figure what to wear that wouldn't just soak up a lot of water and not weigh us down too much. I was a bit nervous because I'm a GREAT floater yet not much of a swimmer. We didn't have to swim, just hang out ~ no touching pool bottom or sides.
Anyway, did that easily enough AND found a great pool for summer swimming!!!! Yayyyyy! So happy! They open at 9 a.m. so we figure we can go early, get our swim time in and then move into our day! More abundance. We LOVE this neighborhood!
Hmmm. I was going to say if you get a chance to go to Christopher Howard's Breakthrough to Success weekend, go to that as well yet, it seems it's not possible. I keep getting an "error" message. Anyway, if he's going to be in your area, go there. It's quite good; he's soooo CUTE!!! and a fantabulous speaker. http://www.powerofinfluence.com/

More fun. Remember, when you are taking inventory of abundance, don't make it just the physical (moneytary) aspects. There are other things as well.
Although this encompasses some monetary, the fun outweighs it.
As you know from my last post, Bo and I took a kayak fitness class on Sat. On Sunday we went to the lake again to hang out, practice our strokes and just sort of be together. We hadn't bought a card yet (20 sessions for $25) and the lifeguard asked if we'd wait until after for the clerk to come in. Sure. So, we took the kayaks out for a couple of hours. What a nice way to just hang out and be in a meditative state. At one point we were just sitting w/ out kayaks next to each other and a couple guys started waving from the shore. We looked around wondering if they were waving to us. Seems they were. One of them had lost his pole. (The water is re-claimed so people can't go in it.) We found the pole and I asked how he lost it. BIG fish on the end. There was. Bo snagged the pole and brought it to the guys who tried to get the fish out of the water. Ooooops! Too heavy for the line. Poor guy was heart-broken. Internally, I was cheering for the fish. Heh!
So, after a couple of hours on the lake, we paddled on in and paid for our card. We received that session at no charge!!! Yayyyy! More abundance.
So, abundance can come monetarily yet, value moments of fun and joy. Don't wait for man-made holidays to enjoy life as so many do. It's funny how people can be miserable every day of their lives then perk up for holidays. What a waste of life, eh???
So often I hear ~ have a happy holiday. Well, have a happy every day.
Injoy,

It's interesting how abundance comes in so many ways. A networking group asked if I would participate ~ along with 3 others ~ in giving free 30 minute teleclasses for the next 7 weeks. This was supposed to be for the group only yet, I requested and got permission to invite others. It seems no one else did that as you'll see in the next paragraph.
Being open to receptivity, I figured I'd call all the other coaches to see what they did, how they did it, and whatever else I could glean from their experiences and expertise, etc. Well, the first one didn't even call in and neither did anyone else. The second one called in and 3 others from the networking group (besides myself) joined in. The third one, the coach called in and I was the only other one on the line. It was SO cool! After chatting a bit (I've worked with her before), she asked me if I'd like to do so-and-so. Sure! So, instead of spending :30 minutes with me, she spent an hour (and we've still got 6 weeks to go!!! YESSSSSS!!!) Now, why would she do that? First, she's got a willing participant; second, she loves what she does; 3rd, we both belong to the same networking groups in which we highlight others we (or someone we know) has worked with. Do you think she is going to get raves from me for her expertise and willingness to go the extra mile??? YESSSSS! So, you see, it's definitely a win-win situation.
Other abundance ~ The universe doesn't measure abundance in size ~ only in appreciation from the acceptie ~ which in this case would be me.
Yesterday I found a lemon I had purchased had gone bad. This morning while out walking there was this very perfect lemon sitting in the middle of the road calling my name. It came home with me. :D
Since Bo's been gone I've been doing a LOT of cleaning and organizing of our office. He's in the promotional products business and has catalogs and samples all over the place ~ well "did" have. heh! During my cleaning I found a few samples of things which I feel will work well with my business. One of them being what is called a Buddha Board. It's sort of like a laptop and has a bamboo brush. One takes the brush and creates whatever one wants with it ~ and as the water evaporates, so does the creation. It goes SO well with my mission statement: "Embrace the present while envisioning a wonder-filled future." You know, the universe will supply whatever you need whenever you need it if you'll just give it a chance.
It's a great little tool to remind me to not be attached to my visions ~ just be in the moment.
By the way, I still have cards for anyone who wishes to attend The Millionaire Mind Intensives. I'll send them out at no cost. I think the cost of the intensive is now $97. It is well worth waaaaaaaayyyyy more than that.
Two books I've been reading and gotten a lot out of: "I Can't Believe I Get Paid to do This" by Stacey Mayo talks about people who went for what they wanted; the disappointments along the way and their successes. Very inspirational. The other one I am currently reading is: "Coaching into Greatness" by Kim George. It's "supposed" to be for coaches yet, there is information which everyone can use I feel.
Make it a great one ~

Revvell,
What great abundance and fun you are having! That is awesome. And it is so helpful for us to read about. I really like what you said about the universe measuring abundance in appreciation. Sometimes we overlook our abundance and it is good to remember to appreciate all abundance.
I have been wanting to set up a website but have been really intimidated by the idea because I know nothing about it and didn't know where to start. I called a friend yesterday to see if i could pay her or barter with her to help me set one up. She said she would love to, but even better she would let me borrow the CD she uses to set them up. It has tutorials and makes it really easy. She had gotten it at school and won't need it again until her husband gets into that class.

My most recent experiences with abundance:
My mom took me shopping and bought me $400 worth of bathroom and kitchen stuff at Linens & Things!
We were able to purchase 2 LCD screens and an Omega 8005 juicer in the same week.
Just moved down to Miami and have been spending more time with old girlfriends (price less)
Spending more time with immediate family, talking and bonding.
I've been able to wake up and go to sleep at whatever time I want.
At this point, we have too much furniture and will have to do a garage sale. So much abundance it's overflowing onto our back porch!
Wonderful, romantic dinners with my husband.
An amazing walk on the beach at night with a gorgeous lightning storm!!
Mom gave me 2 pairs of Lucky Jeans and a pair of shorts that fit perfectly.
I'm able to borrow books from my girlfriends vaste collection.
Meeting and bonding with lucrative business contacts.
Dad had a health scare with his heart and it ended up being something small.
Financial abundance keeps appearing effertlessly.
"I appreciate each and every moment of abundance and recieve it with all my being while expressing humble gratitude."
Thank you.

Revvell, Yes I did have to become open to it! I read a few books that opened up my awareness and now I pay close attention to synchronicity and what I'm thinking and projecting. Some things have come intuitively though. :) I think it'll always be a process I enjoy watching unfold...I've learned quite a few tricks from your posts, thank you for sharing!!
Lately, I've been into Feng Shui since just moving to a new house.
Rawdiva, I lived in ATL for 6 years and I JUST moved to Miami...I guess I need to update that. Too bad our paths didn't cross sooner.

So, I was hanging a glass crystal prism in my hallway to balance the chi and I accidently dropped it and it shattered all over the place. As I was sweeping it up I thought to myself ' Hmmm...maybe another crystal will come in it's place. The tip of it was chipped anyways.' When I went shopping at Whole Foods later I had wrote down on my list to see if they had crystals there. Well, low & behold they had ONE beautiful shiny new crystal ball just for me. And the best part is...it was a very low price of $4.99. Usually, in Atlanta I've payed up to 20 bucks for one.
I appreciate Whole Foods. :)

Ok, some fun abundance today!
I was riding my bike and happened to come across 4 fuzzy cute kittens and the momma just hanging out romping around in the grass. I stopped for awhile and enjoyed their playfulness. Made me enjoy the summer night even more!
Was on the phone with a friend and asked if she would trade our TV (which we don't need b/c we have a big screen now) for her expensive plush couch that she wasn't using and she said YES! Score!
My husband came to me today and said he'll be giving me $50 a week to do whatever I want with. We currently work from home and he pays all the bills. I really don't do much to help him with the biz. I'm so blessed to be taken care of by him but now spending money too!!!! Yes!!
Got 2 Victoria Secret bras in the mail that I ordered awhile ago and forgot about. I love that...they are so comfy too...wireless.
Got a gloriously long email from a friend back in ATL . It made me feel warm all over and loved.
Thank you God for all the fun blessings today!

Some abundance for me ~ Reading Jen Rose's acknowledgements;
Thank you Jen Rose for reminding me ~
Seeing a mom duck with her 6 ducklings on the pond when out kayaking
Being the only one out on the water
Being introduced to books that enlighten and inform on which I take action
Being out on my walk and meeting new people out walking their dogs ~
One REALLY big dog (Newfoundland) came out to greet me and I expected to be run into or jumped on. Came bounding up to me ~ and sat. Lick, lick, lick, lick.... :D
I still have Him beside me
Just as it's the little things that will create drama it's also the little things throughout the day which will bring abundance and appreciation. It all depends on what you choose to focus on. You can either be the cup ~ or the crack in the cup. My cup is full of joy, love and abundance.

I almost forgot. What I did was turn and say: Thank you with a VERY big smile. When he said more (couldn't really hear due to traffic), I gave him the courtesy of turning again (that's when I saw the thumbs up) and with a VERY big smile, thanked him again.
My reasons for doing this ~ I am in receptivity mode. I am willing to receive abundance in all it's forms.
Yes, he, probably being in construction, (in a pick-up truck) is possibly use to saying things like that to women yet, usually they'll do it in front of other guys. He was alone. For me, I think it takes courage for a man to be willing to shout out something like that, in public, to a woman. Sure, he could have kept quiet yet, how many times have we not said something "nice" to someone ~ not given them an appreciation or a compliment even though it's in our heads because it might not come across as we mean it? The person may not have been in a receptive mode or received it as we meant it?
In this case, I'd just gotten off the phone w/ Bo who was getting on a place to come home; I was happy. This encounter added to my happiness. Imagine if I just considered him to be another crude guy and responded that way or just ignored him. Where would the joy have been for either of us? I felt good at receiving; I allowed him to feel good because of my receptivity. How often have you given what you considered to be a lovely gift (verbal or physical) and not gotten what you considered appropriate response in return? Deflating, isn't it?
Out and about ~

Wow!!!! What a wonder-filled life I live.
Just received word after minor paperwork that "the check is in the mail". We'll see. heh!
Last week I was out walking and ran across a small building in No. Hollywood that advertised raw foods so, one evening when Bo and I were out and about we saw it was open and went in to find out what it is. Well, it's a small cafe w/ some outdoor seating and a small stage. They offer various drinks and tonics yet what was REALLY fun is ~ yesterday Bo needed a break from what he's been doing so, we went for a walk over there. The woman behind the counter looked quite familiar. She said I looked familiar as well. I said "Zitari?" She said yes! She is a raw-food chef I'd met sometime last year who had a beautiful kitchen and was making and selling scrumptious raw cookies. She is now working at Higher Ground making cookies, macaroons, pecan vanilla pudding and various other fun things.
So! I got some of the pudding and An Amazon Lemonade which containes acerola, camu, gingeer and apple juice. Bo got the pineapple blueberry smoothie.
I do have to say everything was a bit pricey, just under $20 for the three items yet, very nourishing AND a band showed up w/ a keyboardist, didjeridoo player, African drummer and various other unique instruments. What a night of abundance ~ being with my honey, listening to great music and injesting life-filled foods....oh! And seeing my bud Zitari again.
Address if you are in town is: 5042 Vineland Ave., North Hollywood. 91601 (818) 761-1532. I'd love to see them thrive.
Today I went to a breakfast meeting (love them cuz I can eat the food!!!! ) and won a half-hour phone organizing session. I seem to win pretty much every time I go to these things AND I usually win only the things I want.
Hoping everyone's day is full of joy, love and abundance ~

It'll come and go. Possibility ~ hit an upper limit when purchasing the car. Any thoughts of lack/limit after that? Making payments? Being in debt?
Suggestion ~ go around your home and touch things and know you created them. Count ALL the money you have ~ be sure to check all checking/saving accounts and give gratitude for it. Recently I was in a conference call w/ a business coach and some of her participants and the coach suggested we all go to an event which was happening. One of the participants stated that she'd gone to many of these events and taken notes and never followed up on the ones she'd already taken so why spend (not circulate or invest in this case) more money and time? I thought that was a good awareness.
As I was considering this, I was looking throughout my life. On Saturday I went to a bead show. I was looking for certain items yet was drawn to many others because of their beauty and VERY reasonable prices. The thing that kept me in check was ~ they aren't suited to what I'm currently doing AND I've got a LOT of beads I've already purchased sitting in their little containers, not doing a thing.
Then I got to thinking how many videos and books I've purchased over the 16 years when I was with my mentor which I hardly ever looked or look at.
Next thing I was thinking was how I use to read about meditation yet, never did it.
So, what this adds up to is ~ go to seminars, workshops, classes ~ and don't follow through. Get all inspired; get new ideas ~ don't implement them. Don't take action. Don't even read the notes you took (do you still know why you took them? ) Read the books, don't take action.
All the reading I did on meditation did not do what meditating did and does. Going to seminars, workshops, classes, teleconferences and reading books to get inspired does not make ANY difference until one takes action.
What action? Any action! Consistent, persistent action. Every day. Small things. Daily. First thing ~ get organized. Personally, I cannot function in chaos. My husband and I share office space. His desk was piled high with catalogs, unanswered letters, etc. I took 3 days to unclutter his desk. After the big stuff got done, I took care of the small stuff ~ his and mine.
What a great feeling it is to walk in here now. The office is set-up for productivity.
I'm not saying don't go to classes, workshops, seminars. Who knows? something someone says just MIGHT spur you to take action... and yes, I know every time you go you come home all enthused, ready to go then what? It's Monday ~ or Tuesday...and you're back in the old routine.
Suggestion ~ for those who've gone to all the seminars, classes, workshops, etc. Open your notes and workbooks and get started. IF you want to see a difference in your life, it's not about the workshops, seminars, classes ~ it's about taking action ~ no matter how small.
Do I recommend coaching? Yes! Why? Because they will call your bs ~ if they are any good. Set up a schedule and find one who will hold you accountable. Hold him/her accountable as well. IF they don't give homeplay during the week ask for it; if they don't ask if you completed it ask why they've not?
There are various coaches for different things. There are actually raw food mentors/coaches; business coaches; lifestyle coaches; life coaches, etc.
Another thing you can do is get a buddy. Make a pact. Hold each other accountable. Some people are not looking to get into a business yet, getting out for a daily walk may be just as hard as following up on the notes one took at a seminar.
The thing is, make it fun. Fun is fundamental.

When I was at my last networking meeting I realized I almost always win a "door prize". This time I didn't win the one I wanted which was a ticket to a speaking seminar being held not too far from here yet, I won a children's book. I was wondering what the Universe was thinking as none of my friends have children young enough to appreciate this book. Then I remembered I do have a client who has a two-year old. There we go! She's got it!
Remember, the universe will often give you things to pass on. Be open to receptivity. I've kicked myself a couple of times for losing because the monkey mind jumped in and had so many excuses why i couldn't that I couldn't find the reasons why I could ~ so, I lost.
Now, I get to give a gift ~ for no other reason than I have it to give.
For many who are afraid to have "too much" of anything, just know, the only reason to have excess is to share.
As I'm creating more and more financial wealth, I'm also accumulating places I can share it. No need to wait either. Many places/people appreciate $5. Get started no matter what you have. Time, money, a smile, a kind word.... This is one way to acknowledge that you are abundant and the universe will give you more.... so, you'll not only have more for you ... you'll have more to share.
How fun is that?

My teacher use to say there is a secret ~ and even if he told us the secret, we wouldn't get the secret. Here is a secret...
"There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which, in it s original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe.
A thought in this substance produces the thing that is imaged by the thought.
A person can form things in his thought, and, by impressing his thought upon formless substance, can cause the thing he thinks about to be created."
Wallace D. Wattles
Question is, what are you thinking about and what are you creating?
Revvell

Abundance is not just about money and things... It's about joy, happiness, fulfillment, relationships, love and more...
Being poor is not fulfilling. It doesn't help anyone. Thinking that is like saying being injured yourself will help someone else who's injured. In what way? It may assist in being compassionate yet doesn't assist the other injured person.
Now that I'm writing that I'm remembering how often someone says ~ "Oh! I'm glad I'm not the only one going through this." Why and how is it people want others to be as poor, as sick as tired as they are?
For me, I'd rather have someone say ~ Been there, done that and this is how to change that.
That's what I do here. How does one go from being ill to becoming healthy? How does one go from being poor to being wealthy? How does one go from poor relationships to one of love and support?
Remember this though ~ every rich man has had losses BUT he knows how to regain those losses. Every healthy person has been ill yet knows how to regain health. Every person in a loving supportive relationship has lost that relationship ~ yet knows how to love so goes on to an even better relationship.
It is the way it is..

Well! how fun!
I've been attending networking meetings for quite some time now and invariably I'll win something ~ either something I can use or something I can share with someone.
Two weeks ago, someone gave a talk and was giving away a ticket to here: http://speakyourwaytowealth.com/index.htm I knew I was supposed to have it so I called it. Well, instead I won a children's book. Yesterday I gave that to a client who has a 2-year old. She loves being read to.
This past week I went to another meeting. Same person offering the same ticket. I called it again. I could feel deep inside I was supposed to go to this and not pay for it. Someone else won it. She started making noises about not being able to go both days. Arvee said to call her and they'd work it out so, I went to the restroom. I came back and a friend had the ticket. Arvee said that she was saying "me, me, me" so she gave it to her. Issue here again was she couldn't go both days either so, she did as told and called Arvee asking if she could go one day and I could go the next. Arvee told her she couldn't keep track soooo, "tell Revvell she can come for both days for free". Yayyyyyyyy!!!!
So, I arranged with Bo that if he could make the time, I'd book the hotel for 3 nights. He could drive me down on Thurs., spend the night, then go back and take care of biz; then come pick me up on Saturday evening and we'd stay the night and hang out in Newport Beach, drive home on Sunday at our leisure.
How fun is that???
What's really good is we're driving, not flying and I can bring a blender and my own produce so I will have FOOD!!!!! Going to do some research on where's good to eat for Thurs. and Sat. eve's. We know the good places on the way home! :D

Received a call yesterday that my radio show is a "go" and I'll be chatting with one of the directors on Monday to set up studio and air-time. LOTS of suprises for folk here methinks.
Also, I'll be heading up one of the channels. More on that soon.
I've been totally focusing on prosperity and abundance in all it's realms, mentally, emotionally, finacially, spiritually, etc. It's amazing how the universe will respond. If you've not seen The Secret I suggest you do so ~ more than once if necessary. It's sooooo true. I've known that for awhile now and found that every time I focus on what I want, everything comes into play to make it happen.
I never concern myself about the how and IF it doesn't come to me the way I want or IF it doesn't come to me at all, I trust it's not to my highest good in that form and something better will come along ~ and sure enough ~ it does.
Have an awesome weekend. I think I'll be offline as I'll be traveling, schmoozing and seminaring.

I haven't read the entire thread, but what I've read so far is so fascinating! :D
I did stumble upon the "Law of Attraction" yrs. ago & didn't find it interesting at the time. For some reason, when I learned of "The Secret" video from another thread here on RAW, I got really interested. I haven't finished the video yet, b/c I could barely see last night! My contacts were very dry.
Plus, I've put books on hold from the library -- I think it's called "The Millionaire Mind" & "The Six-Pillars to Self-Esteem."
That's for my introduction into all this. I wanted to share a story! :o I've always wanted to learn Spanish, & I remember thinking I want to practice with someone who was fluent in Spanish. There's this guy who has offered to practice w/ me twice, but I was afraid of the complications that would involve. So I've declined also twice! Maybe this is the universe's way of helping me learn spanish & giving me what I want.
What do you all think?

it seems i am in town this week after all, and my friend who is organizing/teaching invited me at the last minute to attend for cost! how lucky am i!
i missed the 1st day bc i am a bit sick lately, but i leave in a few hrs....i expect it will be healing.

Heyyyy Shakti,
Welcome home!!!!
Thanks for the congrats. The radio show will begin in September. I've got a GREAT list of guests lined up ~ IF we can get together timewise. I'll be speaking with the co-ordinator of the show to find out when I'll be on PLUS the interviews will be archived and podcasted for those who miss them.
The seminar/conference was quite amazing. Amazing in the fact that, so far, I've put out $7,000 to attend two of the "bootcamps" two of the folk are putting on. Thing is, one of my outcomes since then is to be a speaker at the next one next year. They just don't know it yet. lol
Glad to "see" you home. Have a wonder-filled time at the yoga retreat. I think that's just what you need to get moving and grooving again.

This quote today reminded me to realign my "feelings" regarding the fact that I have to occassionally terminate folks in the work place. The reality of the matter is that I can choose to look at the circumstance as liberating for the individual and the company. The individual can now be free to go do whatever it is that they do better or desire to do and the company can now attract individuals that are aligned with the company's mission, vision and values.

I have watched The Secret at least 4 times now from beginning to end and I have yet to grow tired of hearing the same thing. Matter of fact, I get something more from it each time. I have also shared The Secret with 2 other very important people in my life. Both were so touched and learned a valuable lesson regarding LOA. I feel that I am in a different space now and I love it. Revvell, remember when I had my accident? I remember a post where it was said that I attracted it. At the time, I could not wrap my mind around that and how I would have attracted a car accident which would hinder me. Well, now I get it. I did attract it with my negative feelings. I remember bitchin and complaining at that very moment to a friend. I sent the vibrational energy out and boom, I got hit by another car.
My BF is ordering a copy of The Secret too and he has seen a shift for the better in his businesses just by implementing the LOA. Magnificent!!

Hi Robbie,
Actually, I got alot out of it on many different levels. The Law of Attraction has been working in my life just like everyone's however I did not realize how my thought process brought things into my life that I didn't want. Now I know and I keep my thoughts and feelings on a vibrational level that matches what I want manifested in my life.
I loved that fact that the teachers presented in the video have taken different paths in their careers but all of them agree and can speak of the LOA and how this universal law pertains to each of their lives.
I think that at least viewing the Secret on your computer may be a good idea and if it resonates with you, great and if not, that's ok too.
Hope this helps.

Thanks, Rawdiva, for your very intelligent answer. I did view it on my computer yesterday. Totally worth both my time and money. They didn't tell me anything I didn't already know, necessarily, but it was so inspiring, and a GREAT reminder (which I needed :)). it reminded me that "how you feel can make it real" (Peter Gabriel, another master of LOA.) I do a daily "gratitude" log, and it had become rote...I'd forgotten the feeling. Also, it reminded me of the importance of visualization, and setting my intentions before I go out the door in the morning. The story of the "miracle man," and the man who found he was living the exact house he'd visualized five years prior really blew my mind. And it reminded me of how well this works. I can see it working in my life just today, since yesterday. The things I tune into seem synchronous and serendipitous. Anyway, thanks for bringing it to my attention.

I had a light bulb moment as I was going thru my wardrobe for something comfy to put on this morning. Each piece that I picked up to put on, was defective in some way. Either it was spotted or torn or didn't fit properly. Each piece was a bargain in my eyes, the day that I bought them. I remember thinking at that time, "thank goodness these pants are 14.00 or I could not buy them." Well those 14.00 pants ripped up the middle after a few washings. I work out alot and need quality work-out pants that would hold up to a work-out and many washings. In my mind I knew that I needed to buy good work-out pants but I didn't. My pants ripped in a short time, so once again I was at the store to repeat the same act.
My point in saying all this, is that I felt that I wasn't worth spending money on quality clothes instead my mind told me that I was only worthy of items that were ill fitting or would rip within time.
This did not occur to me until after I watched the Secret. Amazing huh. I love it.

I have to say that I make straight for the bargain rails and buy the cheap stuff but it is not because I do not think that I am worth it. I just do not want to buy in to that lifestyle.

On Friday I went to another conference of and for speakers. My husband asks why I go to these. The reason? I'm immersing myself with winners. Those who speak speak about how and why they do what they do and what they've done to get there.
Are they there to sell things? Most definitely. They sell videos, audio packages, books and their workshops/bootcamps, etc.
The people who attend are there often because, even if they aren't winners now, keep immersing and it's likely to take hold and move them from their lethargy to becoming GREAT!
On Friday there was a speaker every 45 minutes from 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. I missed 2-3 of them ~ by choice. Other than that, I was there near the front, awake and aware.
At one point, Ruben Gonzalez was giving away things. He asked "who wants this?" Of course, I raised my hand. So did many others. He gave to whoever he saw first. Well, I wasn't one of them until he had his book in his hand. I boldly stood up and raised both arms. Guess what I got? Yup!
Most people are afraid to do that. After I won that, I looked around to see if anyone else would do it. Not one person until the person I rode down with ~ who was in the back ~ walked from the back and down the aisle ~ and got what she wanted.
I also received a CD/DVD that way as well. So! I purchased one book and took home 4 books and about 5 CD/DVD's; got 3 people to guest on my radio show, made many contacts and had a stupendous time.
I was reading "Ask and it is Given" yet, started reading Ruben Gonzalez' book "The Courage to Succeed" and I'm just taking the time to write this, and I will return to it. It's a VERY good book about a man who, at 21, decided to learn a new sport and become an Olympic winner ~ and succeeded.
What's interesting about that day is ~ when I asked the woman I rode to and from the conference with how she enjoyed it said (about 3 times): Well, I was entertained but I didn't get much information out of it.
Now, how did she get so little and I get so much? Because I had the courage to receive.

If you have dreams and aspirations, create a collage story board ~ put all the things you want ~ car, house, travel/vacation destinations on it.
On Friday at a conference someone asked what everyone would do if they had the money to do anything they wanted. I was the only one who raised her hand out of about 200 people. He asked one person and she said ~ I hadn't thought about it.
When he called on me, I stood up and said ~ I choose to speak at places where they have great spas and I can take a spa week or weekend at least once every month.
Then hands started going up.
So, I wrote my visualization. Am still writing it. I've got about 3 pages currently. Still writing. I'm so excited!
We've also got books on spa hotels, spa destinations around the world, etc. So, last night, I spent looking through the books and looking them up on the net ~ exact location, prices, amenities, etc. and found the one I want to go to. Bo found another he wants to go to. Well, we'll do both.

Fragola, I totally understand about you watching it four times. I've bought several copies and given them away. Each person has organized a viewing party and, thus, The Secret is spread.
As far as visualizing being back with your ex-boyfriend, another idea is to write down the character traits of the person you want to be with (which may or may not fit your ex-boyfriend) -- and be sure, when you ask for this, to include "if it is for my higher good" -- since what we in our little minds may want may not be best for us -- but we do get what we ask for regardless!

Yes, it will work with people yet, not necessarily with the one person you would like it to work with. Suggestion ~ put out what you loved about being with him ~ be conscious about the issues which broke you apart ~ see youself happy. RT, Revvell... thanks for the suggestions!!!
Actually, when I start feeling depressed I try to think that the universe will just send me someone better, and I feel immediately happier :)
I keep asking, I am excited about the wonderful gifts that will soon arrive!!

Fragola,
You're welcome. Just keep a gentle focus on what you want and it'll come to you ~ just maybe not in the package you expect.
I'm hearing more and more people are watching "The Secret" and "What the Bleep..." and hearing more success stories of people just changing their attitude, their focus, etc. and all that is coming to them. It's incredible!
I expect one of these days I'll be speaking in Italy. Keep the lights on for me. :)

Revvell, it is so hard somethimes when the person you loved the most decide to go, I think that the challenge is not to focus much on him but on what is the higher good for me, which may not be the same thing.
I surely need to change my attitude!!
Wow, it would be so cool to have you in Italy, I will be the excited one on the front seat!

This is true. I went through that with someone not too long before meeting Bo. I didn't want someone who didn't want me (he wanted children, I don't) so, he had to go. I cried every night for a month, then tapered off from there. Crying is cleansing. It's a good thing.

Now that I've started crocheting again and am going to learn to knit, I'm either watching vids or listening to audio books on my iPod.
Vids I've watched recently ~ "What the Bleep". Fits in with The Secret which I just ordered on DVD.
Listening on iPod ~ "Practicing the Power of Now".
If you've not read "The Power of Now" and are looking to become more abundant in all areas of your life, this is one book I highly recommend. I don't recommend it on tape... unless you need some sleep. "Practicing the Power of Now" on tape is good though.

I was due to travel out of state today on a one week work related trip.
Usually I'm all about travel anywhere just for the experience.
But this particular trip didn't appeal to me. From past experince I knew I would be on lock down in the training room from 8-5pm and have hotel homework that would consume 2-3 hours per night. Also the atmosphere is fake.
I also have some loose ends to take care of at home:
Financial stuff
Break thru moment with hubby
Fasting for Ramadan
Supporting teenager in some Student Council efforts
etc...
In prayers made aloud and in conversation with hubby I spoke what I wish I could be doing this week. One in particular being to have quality predawn and after dark meals togther while fasting and how I didn't want to loose this week with him. In the past our fasting months hve been quite special because of our deliberate attentiveness during meal time and prayers made togehter. We've been "busy" this time and are not making "the connection'.
Guess what???? At the last minute my trip was cancelled. Still don't know why.
Contacted the facillitator to get the rescheduled date and she said it was still going on. Yet I received an email from my regional clearly cancelling "my" trip.
Then the paranoid side of me thought OH NO what if there is drama at work or I'm getting canned.
Anyway It took me a day to receive and have gratitude.
:D I got my week back with family yeah!!!! ;)
:D If I'm canned it will actually be a liberation, thereby prompting me to go to EGYPT sooner and stay longer. :D
Put it out there in the UNIVERSE and it comes back at you!

cool Revvell... after the painful end of my relationship I am looking for new hobbies to make me happy and I am learning to sew; doing that I am usually watching The Secret or listening the Power of Now on my iPod too

Actually it is very good on tape for me, as it is so slow that I am able to understand it even with my broken English!! I do fall asleep sometimes though... anyhow, a very very good tape, and sooo helpful!!

I just received an email from a friend in response to one I'd sent her last week. She apologized for the delay stating "I had a horribly busy week last week". My response back was "I had a wonderfully busy week".
Now, read those sentences and see which feels better?
We get in certain habits of using words which bring us down. Why? Mostly unsonsciousness.
As soon as she read what I wrote she responed "Oh yeah, what a difference a word makes."
Now, I know she'd "get it" because she is working/playing to increase her consciousness and uplift her life. She's doing what she's been working so hard to achieve ~ authored two books so is out doing book signings, speaking, etc., plus taking care of her family ~ husband and two children. A lot of work yet, she left the corporate world to be able to work for and support herself. She's doing it! Is it work? Yes! Is it "horrible" work? Not on your LIFE! It's GREAT!
One thing I am very aware of is my words. IF I hear myself saying things that will bring me ~ or others down, I reword it and say it positively and specifically. I love being clear in my communication.

i was sitting on a bench today reading a local paper that has an events calendar of what's going on in the city. i read that a local raggae band that i enjoy listening to is gonna be playing friday night downtown.
given my current financial situation, i almost thought, "wish i could go, but i can't really afford that." but instead i thought, "dammit! i'm going!" lol! i started running some of their songs through my head and even danced a little, lol! thought about the cool, laid back atmosphere of the club where they'll be and was just generally looking forward to it.
i swear...not 2 seconds later my phone rang, and it was this guy i know who isn't in the band anymore but does guest performances with them from time to time. he was calling to tell me about the show and to say that if i'm interested in going, he's gonna leave a free ticket at the door for me! i just started laughing, and he wasn't sure why. i just told him that i was actually just reading about the show in the paper, but i didn't tell him the rest. it was great.
so yep. that's how it goes.

Your story reminds me of a time quite a few years back when I didn't know what I know now. It was towards the end of the year and I just moved into a new apartment from having shared one. My rent went up $275 per month plus, I was paying full utilities; then my teacher/mentor said he was raising his fees for weekly sessions AND weekly classes ~ another $160 per month, then in December someone gave me a fully loaded motorcycle and I was wondering how I was going to afford to ride it plus, pay for the insurance when, just a month before, I could barely eek out rent in a shared apartment.
Well, something came over me and I just stated ~ I'm going to do and have it all! Sessions and classes every week, pay the rent AND ride! Well, I did all that and more. I can't tell you how/where the money came from yet, I always had it.
Hoooorah for you! Go and have a wonder-filled time!

You mention "fear". It's something I have my students/clients be very aware of because sometimes it will be underlying and sabatoge all the good words and deeds being done. Bring it up, bring it out ~ then move on.

The "double mindedness" I was referring to is that kind of thinking that causes you to have a plan "A" and then stress over the nfact of needing a plan "B", and sometimes "C". Yeah pretty much synonymous with doubt.
Aired out the doubting this AM and mad a conscious decision not to worry. Journaling helps, meditation helps too.

I am in a situation in which I need to manifest an amazing financial situation so that I can leave my job in which I am extremely unhappy.
Since I am verbally committed to my job until Christmas I have some time to manifest well!
So here goes...
I am a powerhouse who is creating a fabulous money-making raw career! By the first of the year I will have classes and personal consultations lined up that help people and allow me to live the life I want and deserve!
The extra money in which I generate in the next month or so will enable my family to take an awesome tropical Christmas vacation where we can eat tons of fruit and bask in the sun all day!
The family I am working for will find an amazing person to take my place who will be a wonderful nanny.

After I broke up with my loved boyfriend, after 4 years, I was so concentrated on him, and in such in a state of pain... then Revvell and Rawtruth gave me some great suggestions, and I started focusing on what I wanted and asking the universe to give me what I needed for my own good. I have been feeling so much better lately, I do not have that sense of loss and sadness anymore, I do enjoy being friend with my ex BF and I do appreciate the nice things I had from him, but I am now so ready to move on and let go... and about a week ago I met this amazing guy, I don't know what will come out of this, but he almost seem to represent what I have been asking for.... :D

Hello, hello,
I was liberated (love that word for being laid off, let go, downsized, not happy with, confused about etc...) a month ago. I have been going on interviews like mad. Ok ,&*^%&0&% I want an offer now and not just any offer, but one that will blow my mind away, ya know?? I had a recruiter contact me earlier about a position. We set up the interview with a Sr. Recruiter as 12:00 (noon). This person was going to give me more detail about the position etc....... Well 12:00 comes and goes. I email the recruiter (first one) and I tell her I had not received a call as promised for the Sr Recruiter (second one), mind you it was 12:20. So anyway, I get another email from her (first one) stating that the recruiters get busy and she only wanted a range of time. Reminded me of a delivery person, "Ok Cheryl, the sofa will be delivered between 12 and 5 pm." Wait around for it. Think I'll pass on this one.
So that brings me to now. I am asking the Universe for an offer on a position downtown that I interviewed for and would love to have. Right up my alley. Good pay, working environment and people. They will be making a decision this week.
That's what's up with me.

Something someone said in a thread today got me to thinking. So much comes into play as to how we attract things and people to us.
This person used what many would consider curse words in the post and was saying how I would probably say this if this was happening to me. I realized that, no, this doesn't happen to me although, at one time, it would have and worse.
So! Which came first? Yes, I have said those words and much worse yet, since I now choose not to use them, it seems that may be a part of why I don't draw folk to me who are of the more negative energy. Something to think about ~ Was I drawing people to me who negated my chosen lifestyle because of how I spoke? Or did I speak that way because of who I drew? I now feel and understand it's the former. People I currently hang out with don't speak like that. They tend to be of a higher vibration and tend to attract a lot of supportive people in their/our lives. Took me a long time to realize it and even longer to realize how it happens.
At a networking meeting I was speaking with someone about quantum physics and I was saying I had no idea what that was. She told me that I did, just didn't know that's what I was using in my life and my work ~ which are one and the same. It's all the same thing ~ the attractor factor at work/play. What a great revelation!
Had to get that out ~ now I can go back to bed.

Hope that makes you rday, er huhhh maybe not! :D
Anyway back on topic:
Manifested $$$$ yesterday.
Had a Fri/ Sat yard sale with very reasonable prices including several things I marked as "free" just to be giving, recycling and to see what people do. Plus as a pay it forward karma kind of thing.
Anyway, had a piece of furniture that a young lady low balled me on then held me up a whole day waiting for her to pick it up. She was a no show, no pay. So I was bummed that hubby and I would have to move this heavy piece into the house. Deposited all the earnings into our checking. Checked our account online Sunday and the budget seemed a bit off, like potential for NSF once the bills cleared.
The instant I began to panic, I stopped the "whoa is me" script that was about to play and began thinking of the fact that there is a sufficient amount of resources in the Universe to provide for our needs. I literally didn't let the matter stress me and let go of the concern. I vocal confessed that my needs were met and moved on with my day.
Within the hour two guys knocked on my door asking about the furniture that they saw driving by on Sat. They paid me on the spot for the item. Double what the young lady who stood me up was due to pay. They ofered the amount and payment up front and eturned hours later to haul it away just before hubby returned from work

Hello!!!
I was liberated at the beginning of September. I have a job offer on the table, however the commute is 50 minutes without traffic and 90 minutes with. I can't take my Blood pressure meds in the morning prior to leaving for work, because I won't be able to stop to use the restroom, the meds are direutics. There is no room for flexibility with arrival or leaving time. The job also involves travel. This would leave me no balance, ie... working out, mediating etc... I would basically get up go to work and drive home and go to bed. The salary and benefits are not what I was wanted either. Here is the catch, I need the job for money purposes. I feel as if I don't have any other options currently. I am feeling my self-esteem slipping by the minute. I don't get a good feeling about this position or the company. The Director of HR doesn't even know the curent regulations. They seem to be testing me by offering me the job and then asking me to do contract work before I start. Very weird. I would be going into a department and basically getting it up and running, lots of work.
Here is my fear. I am afraid that if I don't take this, I will not find anything else.
Here is the envy. My friends have the same job function, but they seem to find the jobs with high salaries, while I seem to be low balled.
I spoke with my BF but he really can't lend me any advise.
I wrote a counter on the salary, bonus and it was shot down. The Director said that the benefits were more than what I had. I never said anything about my current benefits.
Any suggestions??????

Seems to me that you need to stay LIBERATED and spend time facing and eliminating the "fear factor". The HR person probably saw the desperation written all over your face. Last I checked contract work was to be done on terms agreeable to both. To take the position under contract would provide you income but my guess is, no insurance or other fringe benefits that come with being employed. But oh yeh "theres are better". Yet you are expected to be a clock puncher. NO FLEX TIME ?!?!?!
The clock punching in a congested city has been a NO GO for me for the past couple of years. That is one amount of stress I've successfully avoided. Granted there have been times when I've had to be at meeting "on time", but whenever possible I as well as former colleagues vied for meeting at 10AM or later. I'm an early riser but hate my early AM preparation time being defeated by 90 -120 min worth of traffic. Mind you I've had commute times in the range of 4-6hrs daily, but it included taking 5 children to 3-4 different locations (schools and sitter) each morning and evening. Cumbersome at best.
Alternatively you could choose to ponder the positive:
Commute time could be spent listening to positive books on tape or downloading Revvell recorded interviews into an Ipod (if available).
Make smoothies to go and take diuretic 10min before parking then make a mad dash to the toilet.
Remember it's contract work, set a specific time frame, and bail when your done.
WOW the folks during the contract period and give them seemingly irreplaceable performance, then negotiate your longterm option.
OR:
Have dinner with you friends who are in similiar positions. network with them and see whats cooking at there spots. Consider pooling your talents and starting your own consultative service.
At a minimum pick the brains of your friends set yourself up in buisness for your self and rewrite a counter to this current company's offer that is more like a proposal with terms you can live with.
Set aside some quite time with self and appraise your true "market worth". If you must work for someone else again be sure to stand your ground and except what your worth only.
If you just need quick cash go work the mall during the Holiday rush, and find a headhunter to help you find a career.

WoW!!!! What a great reply and great suggestions. I especially love this:
THERE is NOTHING IN UNIVERSAL LAW THAT SAYS
BY TURNING DOWN TODAYS MEDIOCRITY YOU ARE DOOMED TO RECEIVE NOTHING ELSE.
This is a tough one to give advice on. You need money. Understandable. Not being in your situation I can hardly speak on desperation yet, I have to agree with LifeAGift on it. When one is feeling desparate and afraid something else wont come along then, others are in control.
I can only say what I would do ~ take holiday temp jobs ~ holiday or UPS (they pay gooood!). IF you can see your way to doing it hold out. The reason being IF you take this job it sounds as though when something else comes along you wont be able to take it and/or even have the time/energy to look for one.
Please look inside for other resources/skills you have which you might use to contribute to something temporary.
Many moons ago I took a job with a temp agency. They were impressed that I not only did the work of others, I did it better and faster. They offered me a really good job ~ for someone else. Sitting in an office doing paperwork does not work for flying sheepies. I'm so thankful for people who like doing that.
If possible, please don't settle if you can. You were liberated. The universe has a better plan for you.
*hugs*

Hello LaG and Revvell,
Good advice. I just don't get a good feeling about this one. Drive and time factor are for the birds especially in Atlanta. Funny when I wrote my counter to the perm position, I also wrote about an increase in bonus percentage, and a 30 day insurance waiver. The Director did not address any of these points but only concentrated on salary and tried to convince me that the job was the one for me. Ok, I am going to pass on this one. Just after the typed my post and made my decision about the offer and position, I got a phone call about another opportunity that is closer to my home and one in which I would be interested in doing.
LaG, good ponts. Love your quote " THERE is NOTHING IN UNIVERSAL LAW THAT SAYS BY TURNING DOWN TODAYS MEDIOCRITY YOU ARE DOOMED TO RECEIVE NOTHING ELSE."
So true, so true!!!

This is gold:
THERE is NOTHING IN UNIVERSAL LAW THAT SAYS
BY TURNING DOWN TODAYS MEDIOCRITY YOU ARE DOOMED TO RECEIVE NOTHING ELSE.
I'm gonna' use this again, and again and again.
it is SOOOOOOOO very true.
on all counts, business, jobs, career, relationships, etc.
when we are liberated even when someone else does the liberating, we are still manifesting that, as I know so well, life continues on, and gets so much better if we allow it, so be liberated, and enjoy your freedom, revel in it and look towards a wonder filled future at the positon/job of your dreams.
IT is on the horizon, and will manifest in the perfect time frame.

Animal Communication
It has always been a goal of mine! I have always had animals, like a Doctor Doolittle is what I have always wanted!
Now, I would like to manifest it! I have taken a couple classes and am taking an online class now! I really just need to practice doing this more, so this is an open invitation to any who see this:
**If you would like me to do a reading on your animal or anyone else's animal so that I could get some more practicing in, I would grately appreciate it! All you need to do is give the animals name, your first name and your question...that's it! If you have a picture for right now, it is helpful to me. Then when I email the results to you, if you could give me back feedback that would be very helpful to me also. **
I have been doing this with my online teacher through email. She sends me a picture and I do the reading and email the results back to her! I have been pretty accurate from her feedback, which helps with my confidence and ability in myself and working with my spirit guides!
My email is: cpstriker3603@yahoo.com
Thanks Again, Revvell for this post!
I look forward to your response and Thank You,
Pansy ;)

get up to check my email and in my inbox find an email from a person i sold a skirt to on ebay about 3 months ago that said:
Hi. I won this skirt you made a few months ago. I get compliments on it all the time! Thanks so much and keep designing!

O.k., another reason to support Vita-Mix.
Some of you know I just finished a book and am going to an AARP convention (yeah, I'm "that" old) to promote it. I realized since I mentioned the name Vita-Mix throughout, I should apply for affiliation so I did. As soon as I filled out the form and sent it in I also called and left a message telling them that this was a last-minute thing and would it be possible for them to expedite the process (I knew I would be accepted ~ it was a given) and send me some brochures. This was this past SATURDAY. This is the response:
Dear Ms. Revati:
We have mailed 50 brochures, overnight (at THEIR COST) and wish you great success in promoting your book and the Vita Mix.
Your Affiliate code is not printed on the brochures. We recommend that you put your code on the order form.
You may also write “Sue, ext. 2308” on the form.
If you or your customers call me to place an order IÂ’ll be glad to include a
set of 3 spatulas and 4 flexible cutting boards as extra gifts.
Please feel free to call me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,

Besides loving my V-M, I now love the company. That is GREAT service I think!
THIS is part of abundance and the Attractor Factor. THIS is the type of company we "should" be dealing with AND the kind of service one "should" be getting.
I received the same service from Excalibur. I'd met Vernon Verkade, pres. (I think) of Excalibur. For some reason, my dehydrator's sides had fallen apart. I told him so. He walked me out to his SUV and GAVE me a brand new 9-tray dehydrator. Now, who am "I" going to do business with? (I love the product as well.)
So you know I don't promote what I don't like ~ I received a Cuisinart 11-C food processor. I'm not totally happy with it. I'd had another one before that and sold that after receiving the new one. Wish I'd kept the old one. Ah well!
More abundance...This, compared to the above may appear insignificant yet, the universe does not perceive large/small. I am grate-filled for all my abundance.
While at the farmers' market on Sunday I stopped to get some HUGE avocados. The price was $2 each, 4 for $7. I'm leaving Wed. so I thought 2 would suffice. I gave him a $20 and he needed dollars and asked if I'd like another avo for $1. Okey, dokey! Then he showed me a really ugly avo. Cut it open and told me it was good inside, just ugly outside. Would I like it? Yup! Freeebie!!
Life just keeps getting better and better.

Let us know how the AARP convention goes.
Well, nothing at all like I'd have figured. There were a LOT of people yet, we were in a not-so-good space because both ends were blocked off by HUGE displays sooo, we didn't get much traffic. When I walked through the aisles of other parts they were jammed yet, many were also giving away free stuff and that was the lament of most vendors ~ that most of the folk on Thursday just came for the freebies ~ even if they didn't need them. Friday there were more spenders. Didn't do Sat. Had a stand-in and don't know how she did yet.
It was funny because I had a bunch of LED keychain flashlights and people would pick it up, look wonderingly at it and I'd say "squeeze". Then the light would flash. Whhhoooh! "I've GOT to have one for my grandchildren"!!! Hah! Like that was going to sway me!!! Nooooo. Not for children. They will be flashing them in each others' eyes. I REALLY don't want you responsible for that!
It got to the point where I just took them away and put them behind a sign and just gave them out to folk who either purchased a book or really showed interest and might possibly purchase online. They were so sweet and appreciative.
The Vita-Mix guy, Branden, was there so I gave him a book to display. Maybe he'll get the book into the powers-that-be at V-M and they'll add it to their advertising or something. Who knows?
On Friday evening, a friend of my coach named Robert came over to our room. He's into an online travel agency where they claim that they can usually get lower prices than anyone online AND, if they can't, at least IF someone wants to purchase, who would they purchase from? A big advertiser such as Expedia or us? Ummmm, I dunno. ;)
So, we listened to the presentation. I know Robbie and June signed up so I called Robbie to find out what her investigation led to and she explained all that to me. Anyway, they had a one-day seminar which I missed last week because we wanted to get the book out, so, it seemed like an opportunity to go check it out.
Then, I called June and she said she'd (wo)man my booth and sell my books and that I "should" go to the presentation so I could become a Referring Travel Agent. Sooo, Bo and I went and got the certification.
Yanno, one never knows how something like this may turn out yet, I thought I'd take a chance since we travel so much (as travel agents we get MAJOR discounts and often, some really great upgrades). Bo and I were in the jacuzzi at the hotel discussing it and it just felt like we couldn't take the opportunity last week; they usually only do one training a month and this month they did two; he was with me and could listen to the evening presentation AND go to the day-long certification..
....sometimes, one just has to take the leap. We did.
Injoy~

Sounds like another win win Revell. Kudos to you and the UNIVERSE
U n I verse!!!
One of my big Kudos for this week was a lesson and a potential monetary blessing. The lesson was in stress management, not stress elimination.
I got worked up earlier in the week regarding a financial matter which would have hubby and I owing a large sum of money to our Mortgage company. Oh the stress the strain. Many times I would talk myself down and try to practice what I preached and then I'd falter and create tension between hubby and I because I wanted him to mysteriously find the $$$ needed to fix the problem, my temper was so flared I might has well have asked him to manifest the cash out his rectum ( doesn't rhyme as good as the word my trash mouth wanted to use, oops bad poster :o ) .
Anyway, so my faith in the Creator and the potential of the Universe to meet my need was there but I wanted the matter resolved asap!!! I was fretful and stressed one minute then all calm optimistic and full of affirmation the next. I knew this was all self imposed drama due to my overactive mind, or at least misguided mental energy and probably a little anxiety due to the "lost income" from my recen liberation.
So on Wednesday I sat my out of charecter wanna be bipolar self down and had a discussion with me and the Creator/ Universe. Not a prayer, not meditation, but a gut wrenching ranting raving discussion.
I needed my mind and emotions to align with the words that were in my heart and spirit!!! I wanted to choose my attitude and repond to circumstances not react. I discussed the necessity for greater patience and better treatment of those around me no matter what the situation. I acknowledged my faults wrong doing and basically demanded that things get in order quickly 'cause I was no longer participating in the drama of it all. Ok sound like praying but I was yelling. Alone but ya know not really by myself.
After regaining composure, laughing at self and clearing my mind of the wrong kinda chatter I called the custommer service rep at the mortgage company.
I recapped the situation with the rep, clearly stated my position with respect to the "dilemma" and gave a clear expectation for the outcome of the call and then sat with her on the phone for over an hour while she did a 3 yr line item analysis of our history.
Guess What????
Instead of us owing them money they owe us over $2000 for mistakenly overfunded an escrow account we never wanted in the first place.

This is what happened to me on the weekend!
Well I am in a bad financial situation and I have been visualizing being successful with my raw business and to make a certain amount of money for christmas.
In this period I am also trying to save money, but I still have to eat and I was wanting to decorate my bedroom very badly to make it a more cosy and nice environment for my relaxing and mediatation.
The other day my mum asked me if I was willing to go to her place to eat at lunch and dinner for a period, so she would feel more motivated to stay healthy and to lose weight! That is great because I am going to help my mum (and she asked me that!!) and I will not spend any money on food!
I then went to see my brother yesterday in his new home, and I was telling him about my plan to decorate my bedroom, but that the paint I want to buy is really expensive as it is totally ecologic. He then said that he had a couple of gallons of super ecologic paint he bough but then he did not like the colour so much and never used it, so I could have it! And that is the color I wanted!!
soo... I am not making money still, but for sure I am saving a lot for now, and getting what I want!!

Yowza!!!! Way to go!!!!
This is what happened to me on the weekend!
Well I am in a bad financial situation and I have been visualizing being successful with my raw business and to make a certain amount of money for christmas.
In this period I am also trying to save money, but I still have to eat and I was wanting to decorate my bedroom very badly to make it a more cosy and nice environment for my relaxing and mediatation.

... and phrases people say without thinking and IF one mentions it to them they'll say "It's only words". Like "hump day" (Wednesday). Shows they don't appreciate they've got work. Last night in class my teacher who's done a lot of traveling was saying how in America they're trying to take business away from "third world" countries because of the sweatshops there. People don't realize if we don't purchase from those countries those people would be in worse shape than ever. He said he's seen mile long lines of people hoping to get work for 17 cents a day in one of those places. IF they shut down, thousands more people will be starving. It's a tough situation.
How about "if it wasn't for bad luck I'd have no luck"? Ummm, stop saying it and change your luck.
Just a couple of examples.

SO I had a physical yesterday by a MD that came reccomended to me by a spunky and spry 70+ yr old vegan woman.
He's 44, though appears 35.
I set my mind full of anicipation that this guy would partner with me in getting my act together health wise.
So I go in and we reviewed history, concerns and he actually checked my upper orifices and squished my belly. I say this 'cause I've had my insurance billed by folks who never touched me or even had me cough, and they weren't reiki masters doing the no touch energy field thing. Anyway, I was pleased with the outcome cause he actually did listen, gave me a 2 weeek gameplan and a return appt. .
The extra upside is that the guy is a runner and triathalete and believes that the best dietary intake for me is the "one that helps me feel my best and allows me to loose the weight I need to loose". He only objected to a high preservative, trans fat little debbie kinda diet and he was serious 'cause I guess there are a bunch of "junk" food diets going around that people are swearing by. He gave me two thumbs up for (not that I needed the confirmation) trying raw and sticking with a vegetarian diet.
Plus he believed me concerning symptoms connected to a regretted tubal ligation. Did the blood work I requested and agreed that I needed to loose weight. Every doc I've seen in the past three years has told me that ligations shouldn't have side effects and that I'm really tall and energetic so my weight is fine, though I'm not large boned and my BMI says borderline obese.DUH
I'm really tickled that no matter what the lab results are that this MD wants to meet back in 2 weeks to discuss them and reestablish a new gameplan, and to get my feedback as to what I've done so far. I so need the accountability right now!!!
THink I've found a partner and me is happy!!! :D

Personally, I don't go to docs yet, when someone finds someone who is supportive, no matter what field, that is a wonderful thing. I am soooo happy for ya!!!!
I know about those insurance claims. Worked with a chiro who did that. Put down that one of the patients had received a treatment with a particular machine yet it wasn't possible since I'd been using it. Asked the patient to check the bill. Uh huh. That's why insurance is so high. Unscrupulous folk like that.
Glad you found a good 'un. Sounds like he actually converses with ya too, eh?

Ok Revvell help me out with this one.
I am searching for employment and have yet to find that position. I have been getting interviews with companies that I am not interested in or the pay is terrible. A person who I use to work with found employment lightening fast with a high salary (as she says). Matter of fact she calls me almost daily to tell me how she is doing and how the boss loves her etc.... One thing about this person is that she starts off loving her positions and after a couple of months, all I hear is bad, etc... the boss is a B*thch, the work sucks, you get it. Another person that I know just started looking and voila, she sent me an emaill telling me that she got a job.
I am feeling a little jealous??? (is that the word???) because I have been doing what is necessary to get a position and they simply look for a day or so and voila the jobs magically appear.
I am feeling bummed.

Jealous is the right word... or even envious... and it's stopping you from having what you want. It's one of those caught between a rock and a hard place though. It's like when you're low on cash and wondering how to pay the rent/mortgage and "trying" not to think about it and it's all you can think about.
Suggestion: If you've not already done so, write down exactly what you are looking for. Picture it in your mind. Now, try this. Write down... "One reason I wont let myself have what I want is..." then write whatever the mind comes up with as a response. Don't edit, don't stop it... just whatever the mind throws your way.
The other thing is, be happy for your friends/acquaintances. Know that there is enough for all including your perfect job.
Consider this as well. The reason I started my own businesses was because I couldn't keep a job. I was like your friend who would get a job, be real happy ~ for about 3 months ~ then start complaining. I realized I needed to work for me. (Your friend may as well).
This may be an opportunity for you to find your passion and go for it. Whatcha think?

Jealous is the word, I just didn't want to admit it. What I am going to do is to take a break from these folks to get my head together and so that the jealousy won't interfer with my getting what I want for myself. Seemingly when I hear about the good of these folks, I seem to spiral out and get depressed and wonder "why me or why don't it have this or that."
Revvell, your question is a good one. Going to do that, I may be surprised with what I write down in regards to what is holding me back. What do I really want? Another good one.

Nothing wrong with looking at the "what-ifs". What IS "wrong" is when you look at the "what-if's down" instead of the "what-if's up". What if you succeed? What if everything not only goes the way you plan but goes even better? What if life is really as good as it could be? What if one could stop "persuing" happiness and just be happy?

I've just finished reading Alissa's book - Living on Live foods...and now truly believe this is the transformation I was longing for. I've read 4 other books on Raw, but I still didnt feel fully convinced. But Alissa's answered it all.
I am going thru a bad bout of depression but not on any meds. I refuse to take them any more. I haven't touched any in 8 years.
I have no support for this transformation which is depressing as well. I am now at a point that if I don't do this transformation, I'll act on 'those thoughts'. But I'm determined to change. I've been a servant for others for so long, I have totally neglected myself.
I have tried beaming with positivity and doing great things for others like all those spiritual books (as well as Alissa's) say...be good and good will come to you. I've been persistent at it for 2 years but i am still surrounded by the most negative people that just want to suck me dry of any energy i may have.
I thought I would join the "shoulder to cry on" forum and gain help-give help, but was told to go here...am I in the right place?
I just feel weird being told to go somewhere else....i just had a really low day today and just need someone to talk to.
Revvell
11-29-2006, 01:20 PM
...am I in the right place?
That will be for you to decide.
As far as "be good and good will come to you" I would say "be good to yourself first, then you can be good to others". You say: "I've been a servant for others for so long, I have totally neglected myself." Stop! Do for you and let that expand out to the world. YOU come first! People keep saying to do for others. What have you got to give? It's like on the airplane they say if the oxygen mask drops put yours on first. If you don't you might not live long enough to assist anyone else. Same here.
Suggestions: read Alissa's book over and over; indulge in some of the best tasting food ever. Watch, as you do more and more raw how your mood changes.
I know about depression. Been there, done that. I was suicidal from the time I was 13 to into my mid-40's. I have to tell you, I'm glad I stayed. My world has changed because I did. NOW I have the wherewithal to help others.
Eat well, get in some conscious movement, get out walking and breath the freshest air you can, daily and get some sun. IF you're in an area where you don't get enough sun, get a light lamp. (gaiam.com is one place).
If you don't feel like eating, make a HUGE batch of green smoothies in the a.m.; drink those throughout the day.
Go for it! You deserve to live and be happy. How do I know? Only one reason ~ you exist.

Thanks Revvell!
That's exactly what I needed!! I'll be reading one by one and deligently crossing each one off heh heh :D
A few fun things that happened to me:
I was going to Bikram Yoga consistantly once a week but had to stop this month because all our extra funds have been going to our website upgrade and christmas presents. My yoga teacher emailed me and asked why I haven't been coming and I said it was because of $. She said she hated to see people not come b/c of money and said I could come for FREE in exchange for giving her a few singing lessons. SCORE!! So now I"m able to go up to 3 times a week!!! Or as much as my body is willing to take. How great is that?? :)
Also, yesterday when I went to yoga this beautiful girl put her mat next to mine and we got to talking. She was obviously a dancer and she said she had her own Dance Company here in Miami. She said she noticed my yoga technique and said it was beautiful and that I had good stage presence. She offered me a position in her Dance Company! I told her I wasn't a trained dancer but did more of a freestyle dance at the clubs all the time. She said that she's got trained dancers that have no stage presence and that she can't book them b/c of that. We promised to exchange cards after the class but when i woke up from the ending meditation she was gone. I was kinda worried that she was just being nice and maybe just saying all that - but I quickly let that thought go. What will be will be. So, I checked my messages today and there was a call from her. Seems my yoga teacher had given her one of my CD's with my business card in it before she left. She called to say she wanted to discuss the dance position and she even has an opening for New Years Eve!!! I'm very excited about this b/c I LOVE dancing!!! And I can make money doing it??? WOW~
Oh and this morning I woke up to a UPS package including a TOWER of gift boxes including truffles, candy, nuts and fruit from my parents! It's not organic or anything but it was such a nice thought and shows they kinda get the raw thing. Also, I can give the truffles and candy away to people on my gift list! Double Score!!
Today is a good day! :)

Here are a few experiences of mine... I was working with a group on manifesting abundance for a month. A challenge I'd been invited to join, so I did. Three weeks into it, I received a check from a friend for money I had loaned him and then graced the debt 10 years earlier. A couple of weeks later I received another check from him. This was for a fairly large amount of money... he explained he had come into a sudden windfall of unexpected money and thought of me. Although I had graced the debt, he insisted that he wanted me to have it... that my help had meant a lot to him.
Last summer a relationship of mine was very challenged. I was open to whatever was the best for all concerned. I knew that I was attracting this and chose not to view it with blame or just hurt. I needed to change my own emotions/focus... and what I was attracting. I began to focus on positive loving relationships... and seeing myself in them. I sustained that focus no matter what was happening on the surface... just positive and loving. It was amazing the transformation... life giving.
In September I was thinking about how much I love to travel. Presently, I am financially committed to a grad program so it didn't seem possible. But, that is limited thinking... so for fun I decided to focus on seeing myself traveling and enjoying it. I watched various PBS travel shows, saw myself or imagined myself there and affirmed it in other ways. I didn't share what I was doing this with anyone. Several weeks later, I received a call out of the blue a from a family member inviting me for a trip to England... they wanted to take me... would I please join them? Wow... I was blown away!
Well, those are a few... I think we are attracting all the time. My focus is to be conscious of it... and do it lovingly, positively. There is so much good possible for each and all of us!

I have read one Osho book and I can't remember the name because I lent it out...He is truly amazing.
Hi Jen,
Great pictures and costumes! You'll do GREAT! I agree with many trained dancers not having presence. When I use to go to a local club where we did contact improv those who had no training go the most attention. Those with training looked down on us yet we were the ones having fun!!! And FUN is FUNdamental! You go gurl!
Yes, Osho was amazing. He's been my spiritual teacher for about 18 years. Gave me my middle and last names.
Have a GREAT audition. Go play!!!!

Before Bo left Dk. he signed a 2-year contract with his former company. During the first year, they were a bit slow in paying yet, eventually he received all the funds he was supposed to. This year ... nothing. A couple of weeks ago he spoke to his now-retired boss and was told he didn't know why the company wasn't paying. Yesterday Bo told me his former boss got back to him with the name of the person who should be paying him and that the gent was expecting some invoices.
We're having a better holiday than expected. YOWZA!!!!

You're quite welcome Shmoopie. I'm hoping this one takes off like the appreciations thread has with everyone telling all their wonder-filled examples of manifesting. Thank you for reading. :D

Recently my bf did some simple feng shui things to his business and office space... his focus was clearing and prosperity. He experienced an immediate increase in sales! :p

That's a fine example of how simple things work. Thank you for sharing this Star.
One thing I've noticed from people is how they need to complicate and convolute things. Easy movement, fresh raw foods, situating things in an office ~ all of these things will contribute to good health and prosperity.
As I was out on my walk today I realized I need to do a radio show on "Friendly Abundance" and then a teleclass. You posting this has spurred me to take action on them. Thanks!

Hey Revvell, can you tell us more about teleclasses? I've never heard of this, but my first guess is that it's a class/lecture by phone and if that's what it is, I'd love to be a part of it if possible. What does something like that cost and how does it work?
Thanks.

Hi Schmoopie,
Thanks for asking.
That's exactly what it is. I get a conference line and whoever is interested signs up through Paypal (the link and info will be on my website). When they sign-up, I receive an email and so I email them the call-in number and access code. I'm thinking of holding 2-3 during January (so say if they book for Tue. evenings and can't make that one, then they can call in on another day/night) ~ 4 weeks beginning mid-January. The fee will be $99 and will include a downloadable eWorkbook that they can use for 30 days (or longer if they have more copies). I send a special link for the eWorkbook as well which will only be available for a short time for those on the teleclass.
I hope I wrote that so it's understandable.

You did. Thank you. I'll definitely check out your site for the info. I'm FINALLY starting a job in the next week or so, so as long as I can afford the class by the time it starts, I'm in. If not, I'll have to hit the next one.

Thanks Star. It's inspiring and empowering me that I get to do it.... and it's all selfish. I receive what I put out. (Everyone who teaches knows what I mean by that.) :) Now, how cool is that?
I read this before I went out to meet with my teacher and was considering this. Everything I do I do for me and it expands out into assisting the universe. Someone started a "pollution" thread and I realized, I eat what I eat for me ~ and it benefits the earth tremendously; I re-use bags because I don't want excess trash ~ and it benefits the earth; I teach what I teach to create income and it empowers and inspires others ~ and comes back full-circle to me. It's all win-win which is the way I love to play. :)
Thank you for your seeds for thought.

wooo hooooo!
o.k. so i was at the dollar store standing in line getting ready to make a small purchase. the man in front with a full basket turns around and insists that i go ahead of him since i didn't have much to purchase. i smile, and happily tell him thanks. well, when it's my time to purchase, i'm diggin' through my checkbook tryng to find the $1 bill that i knew i had put in there. my plan was to quickly pull that out along with some coins in the compartment of my purse. well, i couldn't find the $1, so i thanked the guy and told him to go ahead, so i could find some money to pay for the stuff.
so he's checking out, and i'm knealing down with my purse on the floor tryna dig out a dollar from somewhere. i finally found it and stood there waiting to buy. so the generous man motions to the cashier to ring up my items along with his! so i'm there with a huge smile like, "are you sure?" so he confirms and pays for my items. it was only $1.28 worth of stuff, but i was very grateful. i hardly ever carry cash, and that $1 bill was the only one i had on me, lol! so i got to keep it. :D
i've learned to always be open to abundace and generosity from others. in the past i would have insisted to the guy that i pay for the items myself. but, shoot! i gotta whole different mindset these days, lol!
peace

Hi Revvell,
This is just a "thank you" note for your presence on this forum! Thank you so much! You probably get a ton of these types of messages whether it's on here or offline, but I felt this pull to just add another one in your collection. =)
I'm in my early 20s, & there have been so many opportunities offered to me throughout my life that I have not noticed. Many things have happened to me, which at the time, I thought to be misfortunes. I love the way you give insight as much as you can, but at the same time be able to call out a person's self-destructive thoughts firmly. At first, I was very, very, very surprised! But I needed those posts from you to be like they are to learn the things I am currently learning. Thank you so, so, so much!!!!!!!
Happy Holidays!
-konmai :D
